Dec 31, 2004 This bottled brew marked best before 11/30/04 poured a small sized head of frothy fine to large sized mostly diminishing white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained average carbonation, was slightly hazy and light yellow orange in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild tingly . Its mouth feel is initially tingly slightly off with a lingering tingly palate and a aftertaste. Its flavor contained the hefe-weizen flavor is buried in it but is not well known with some fruitiness it is missing the banana and yeast notes notes. little to compare to a good German Hefe-Weizen.

Dec 22, 2004 When I bought this, I was afraid it was another American wheat (no flavor). That’s not the case. Pours hazy yellow with high carbonation but no head to speak of. Clovey and spicy aroma and flavor. Very light and easy to drink with a refreshing acidic zing in the aftertaste.

Dec 12, 2004 Bottle. As the label reads "BEST BY 11/30/04." Poured a small white head, sparse lacing, cloudy, carbonated, and a straw yellow hue. Aroma was right on for this style-malty, sweet, banana, clove, and spicy. The flavor; however, was not good for this style IMMHO-sweet, very, very acidic, sour, tart, malty, and spicy. Mouthfeel was very acidic and not at all pleasing to the palate. Light bodied GH.

Nov 9, 2004 My first Two Brither beer, and I can’t wait to try the other 4 styles I have. This one pours turbid deep gold with a medium white head. Aroma of hopcit, yeast, banana, with the same tastes appearing, and a balanced, somewhat citrusy, dry finish. Good complexity. This was better than I expected.

Oct 21, 2004 Pours a milky yellow with a thin bubble head. Aroma is sour citrus, dry. Body is incredibly malty- too malty for the style? Maybe not, but it was unexpected. Very tangy lemon taste with some funny bitterness underneath. What it lacks in taste is made up for in the mouthfeel. Finish is nice with some bitter and orange citrus notes. This beer just slips and fades away from the palate. If Two Brothers could reproduce this mouthfeel in their other beers....wow.

Oct 13, 2004 Cloudy Orange.
Solid, spot on aroma of strong nutmeg, vanilla and clove, lovely fruit scents of deep orange, tangerine and banana.
Oddly enough, this is slightly sour especially on the mid-palate and in terms of flavor, this reminds of Hitachino Nest Weizen and that is a good thing. Loads of deep, coating flavor and huge, for its small size. Notes of vanilla, clove, pepper and orange. An odd beer for sure but quite tasty.
