Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of brentfeesh. Pours a cloudy yellow with a rough, bubbly off-white head. Yeasty and tart citrusy aroma with some phenols. Light-bodied, heavy carbonation, very tart and citrusy with some yeast. Infected. 111009

nose is extremely clean and floral malt profile with lacking weizen esters. appearance is properly clouded yellow sun. flavor is the esters lost in the aroma, banana in droves with a spice note that arrives late in aftertaste and hangs out.

bottle poured a light golden in color with a little ring of white foam. aroma has honey wheat, grains, caramel, and some banana like yeast. lighter side mouth feel with medium carbonation. flavor has sweetness both in caramel and honey, wheat, banana, very lightly spiced yeast, and a bit of grains. i liked the fact the spice took a backseat to the beer itself and the texture was not on the watery side.

I haven’t had this one in awhile, but my records indicate that I liked it quite a bit... one of my favorite American versions.

Had a pint on tap at Sunswick tonight. This is a great, extremely true rendition of the hefeweizen tradition. heavily fruity nose. The taste smacked of lemon and orange with banana notes on the finish. As with most hefes, very easy to drink. Delightful.

Bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with a small white head. Smelled and tasted of colves and bananas and a bit of spices. Has a medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, and a long finish. Overall, I like this beer but wish it was a bit spicier. I would drink this again.

Is a cloudy orange with a decent size white head that doesn’t last as long as most hefes. Aroma is mostly clove and a little banana. Flavor is what you would expect. Not amazing, but pretty good. Decent German style hefe.
