Pours a light clear orange until I dumped all the chunky sediment into it. Soft aroma with clove spice and a hint of banana bread. Nothing too overpowering here. The clove and banana are well balanced with a pleasant lemon citrus. The wheat is very light. Crisp and quenching mouth feel. Good brew. Cletus (5057), Connecticut, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 4, 2008 12 oz bottle into shaker. Nice (very) hazy honey golden color with a good white head that holds and laces well. Typical yeasty wheaty aroma with some clove, coriander, and orange peel in there. Flavor is the same - very typical of style and extremely simple and complex, but very balanced and flawless and highly drinkable. Light bodied and fresh on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall:not my favorite (or the most complex) style; very simple but good and balanced and refreshing. Great summer session brew. falkirk005 (27), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 7, 2008 Bottle. Loved it. Aroma is crisp with hints of citrus. Appearance in the glass finds a classically cloudy gold body with a good head. Refreshing on the palate and quite flavorful without the spices overwhelming things. I already bought a second 6-pack. hogan873 (332), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 2, 2008 I’m impressed by this hefeweizen. Cloudy amber body with a medium white head that leaves a little lacing. Very nice aroma of banana, spice, and yeast. Very clean and bright on the palate...good carbonation. One of the sweeter hefeweizens I’ve had. Sweet citrus, banana, and some tropical fruit notes. Finish is aptly spicy with the clove making an appearance. A very enjoyable beer. drfabulous (1244), Columbia, Missouri, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 7, 2008 Tap at Barcade. Very cloudy deep yellow brew with a thin white head. Aroma is absolutely loaded with a bright banana and clovey spiciness. As it warms, the aroma is really quite lovely with a rich spicy wheatiness shining through the bright banana character. There is also a touch of lemon/grapefruity citrus in back. Full-bodied and very creamy/wheaty body. Sweet without being cloying. What a great hefe. LilBeerDoctor (1505), East Setauket, New York, USA

Aroma of spices (clove, corriander). Flavor is rather fruity and sweet for a hefe (lots of citrus, also kiwi, pineapple, grapefruit). A slight sourness from the fruit too. I liked the fruitiness of this hefe and it was quite tasty too! Interesting hefe.
