Great beer. Though not quite as good as a Europian weiss beer this is superb and the very best domestic German styles wheat. Very fruity and slightly sweeter then other weiss beers. Bananna and almond flavors are present but when I went on tour there I found they do not add this. It is all in the way the beer is prepered.

the aroma is that of fresh bananas. the flavor reminds me of Hacker-Pschorr Weiss Beer. the palate it sits ok until i start to sip more of it then it starts to get bitter. besides the bitterness that is a very good german style wheat beer.

Now we’re talking good beer! Here’s a very respectable German Wheat. An aroma to bowl you over, with taste to back it up. Reminiscent of the best Germany has to offer. Must try it again against the Hacker-Pschorr.

A damn-near-perfect Weissbier. Pours a beautiful cloudy yellow with a pillowy white head. Nose is dominated by banana, but there’s a nice vanilla hint in there. Flavor is quite sweet, but not at all cloying, with a leaning towards bananas. Lacks the twang that most German Hefeweizen have, but it stands on its own as an excellent beer.

pours a very cloudy dark neon yellow orange with a two finger fluffy white head, and has a lot of sediment hence the very cloudy and unfiltered look. aroma is a nice sweet lemony wheat with some vanilla and clove and some banana. has a medium body with some descent lacing. flavor is banana, wheat, and clovewith a touch of vanilla. a very nice american wheat beer possibly one of the best?! has a nice little carbonation to it and a very full mouthfeel. i think this is definetly underrated! myself and a couple of other’s that tried this at the same time think it is comparable to hacker-pschorr hefe weiss.

Wow, for a wheat beer this has character. The banana is very prevalent both in the nose and the finish. This would be great on a hot summer after a long day on the bike.

This offering poured from a 12oz bottle pours a hazy golden color that leaves a thin off-white head that stays with the beer. The aroma is sweet. Wheat, lemon, pepper, yeast, grass, are all present in the nose of this brew. The taste is sublime, cloves, bananas, orange peel are all dancing on your tongue. This hefe has a syrup consistancy wheaty, bready, and has a distinct lemon flavor...finally the brew finishes on a citrus hop profile with a banana bread spice finish.

A play on words created by this beer’s creators the Ebel brothers at Two Brothers Brewing Company. I regard this beer as one of this brewery’s best products. Everything you want in a Bavarian weiss beer, except that it is from a Chicago suburb and not Munich. This just makes the product fresher and more lively. Seek it on tap. This wheat beer expresses a good amount of the Banana and clove yeast flavors known in German wheat beers found in Bavaria. It is unfiltered and very tasty.
