Jan 1, 2008 Dark copper/amber color, thin white head that left sticky lacing through out the drink. Grapefruit zest, sweet piney hops, pineapple, carmalized sugars, and sea salt aromas. Truly well balanced in the nose. A smooth and creamy IPA with a high drinkability. Almost perfect in my opinion. Lost a point for a slight bitterness in the finish that just didn’t mesh with the aromas. Still, an excellent IPA and one of my favorite all around beers.

Feb 12, 2006 Bottled. Amber colour. Grapey aroma, sweetish candy-like. Grapey flavour with notes if pinetree. Hop chock. Wonderful, well balanced beer. An amazing example of the IPA-style. I´d prefer less malt sweetness though. The bitterness was sensed in the middle of the palate, whilst the citrusy tones spreads freshness. Full body, long finish, soft and enjoyable!

Jan 14, 2008 Wow I am surprised to see such a low rating for this, I loved it. Maybe its just my love of wet hopped ales talking, but this had some great flavor and smell going on. A nice thick feel to it as well, this leaves the SN Harvest in the dust.

Dec 12, 2009 Cask at Ginger Man. Deep amber with a thick sticky white head. The nose is really great. Lots of bright citrus and a lot of zesty floral aromatics. Soft and fruity with a lovely fresh hoppiness. Surprisingly soft and velvety with a gentle grapefruit/mango hoppiness and a very moderate bitterness. There is an excellent soft sweet maltiness that just helps balance the soft resiny fruity hops and some soft creamy mouthfeel. The hops leave a delicious sticky coating of resin on the palate and just invite another mouthful. In this condition, this cask is amazing. Sublime.

Jan 23, 2006 This beer is fantastic, it pours a carmalized sugar color. It leaves a thin white lace that not only sticks to the side of the glass but continues almost like the meniscus on a glass of wine. The smell is of citrus, lemon, honey, floural, loads of hop. The taste on the palate is sweet, balanced with the bitterness of the hops. I can really taste the honey as well as a little alcohal on the palate. Overall this beer is great, a fantastic IPA

Feb 24, 2002 A study in American hops. Pours a murky gold, with a huge, rocky head that laces nicely. Of course, hops is the dominant character, but it’s a balanced, floral/citrusy combination, and there is just enough malt body to hold things together. Leaves a decent dry bitterness, but it’s not over the top.

Nov 3, 2002 Heavy hop aroma. Off-white head with excellent lacing, though head is mostly dimishing. Amber-orange body. Heavy bitter flavor with a long finish. This brew is very similar in to Town Hall’s Masala Mama IPA. An excellent brew; one of the best IPA’s I’ve had.
