Commercial Description:
A cross between beer and a mead, Heliocentric Bragot revives an ancient tradition and proves that the Earth does revolve around the sun - sunflower honey, that is.

Appearance: Pours a clear, orange-yellow body with a thin, white head. Smell: Nose reminiscient of a tall can of Camo High Gravity with only minor honey notes. Taste: Sweet, honeyish taste with a blending of Steel Reserve and Evil Eye that lasts until the finish. Well, I can’t exactly say that was pleasant. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Tongue-coating mouthfeel. Drinkability: Nothing to bragot about.

Thanks Jason. This elixir pours to a well carbonated bright golden body with a thin foamy off-white head. The aroma is sweet honey malt-liquor. Corn and silage. Doesn’t this smell like Miller High-Life? Perhaps old saaz hops. The flavor is sweet stale sunflower seeds with a cheap pale macro-beer underneath. The palate is astringent, medium-light bodied, and grainy.

Bottle shared by Jason. This beer is all about the unique sunflower honey choice - the aroma gives the essence of dried flowers but the flavor is pure sunflower insides.

Off orangish amber small white head. Odd sweet fruity aroma light hints of honey and a bit of flowers. Palate is avg. Flavor is like a sweet full bodied miller high life w/ honey... not very good... not very bad..

Bland. Not much here. Pours golden with a small head. Honey and malt predominate.

22 oz. bomber. Easy drinking because of the sweet, fruity flavors of this beer/mead. Golden orange pour with a fluffy white diminishing head. The aroma is full of honey and fruit — apple, melon with an aftertaste of blueberry and strawberry. Medium body and slightly sticky texture. Fizzy carbonation. Clean finish.

22oz bomber: Honey orange pour with a skim thin white head. Very light nose, hinting at honey, orange peel and alcohol. Medium bodied with light, spritzy carbonation. More honey mixes with subtle caramel malts in the body. Alcohol is present, giving this a wine-ish feel. Mostly one dimensional.
