Nose like white wine, sweet malt and a little alcohol. Flavor is honey sweet with noticable alcohol when you exhale through your nose. LIke white wine, with some spice and some faint grass in the finish. Interesting beer, but beer should be beer and mead should be mead. kp (8399), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 19, 2008 Liked this beer alot more then I thought I would. A little medicinal but the honey and malts find a way to break through and turn this into a descent beer. CaptainCougar (5457), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 12, 2008 Pours a transparent orange bronze with a thin, spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of slightly toasty grainy malts and some mild honey character. Body starts semi-sweet, but kinda thin with a bittersweet slightly floral honey flavor and a drier finish. Nicely-balanced and pretty drinkable. A good braggot. shp555 (1683), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

The honey really abounds in the flavor of this beer/mead, which is pretty pleasant. It is well-matched with floral notes and a mild spiciness. Delicate, floral aroma with some honey and just a hint of malts. As a Bragot goes, its pretty good. notalush (2660), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 8, 2008 Medium gold with tiny suspended particles, a sparking body, and a lasting, foamy head - aroma of honey, flowers, apples, some earthy, almost musty notes - light-bodied, with somewhat prickly carbonation - there appears to be a higher ratio of ale to mead, at least to start things off - a grainy and somewhat fruity character manifest at first, then the heavier, honey-sweet mead character settles in, bringing with it a heavier mouthfeel, floral notes, and an almost boozy/apple brandy sweetness - an interesting combination of flavors that I think works pretty well starts rather ale-like, and finishes all mead - another under-rated beer from two brothers.
