A very nice aroma, light lemon, orange, some honey mixed with the base Northwestern hops. Taste isn’t nearly as hoppy as I thought it would be. A bit diminished overall as a result. Smooth ending, with a bit of sugarcane. dkachur (2390), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

Pours a clear amber color with a medium head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma is citrus hops, resin and light sweet malts. Taste is bitter resiny hops, sugary malt notes and citrus notes as well. Medium bodied. Alcohol is not noticeable and this is quite drinkable. Very nice. Produces excellent lacing. Has a good aroma of pine, citrus and light malt hints. Has a good caronation. A real nice mouthfeel. The flavor is well mixed. Not too hoppy but a definate amount of hops is there. A medium body. They hide the alcohol very well. Doesn’t seem as high as it is. Has a good finish. I like thiss one a good change of pace from the super hoppy IPA’s .Enough hops to get me excited but smooth mix.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 15, 2009 Pours a dirty brown color with a medium off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts and earthy hops. Taste is very malty; caramel and syrupy sweetness. Almost no citrus or vibrant hop characteristics come across. A big let down. Hop heads only? I’d like it if there were some hops in it. PJClarke (708), London, Greater London, England
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | May 10, 2009 Take the warnings on this bottle seriously. The deep red orange brew capped with an orangey peach head packs a big hoppy punch. Thick skunk aromas, very hop-heavy carry hints of cranberry dryness in the aromas. Big and very bitter in the mouth, it surpasses bitterness and becomes outrageously rich. It is slightly woody too but gives a real halitosis finish. It is not hugely appealing to me, a bit full on and heady. The warning on the label makes it seem fair enough though. LtJudge (432), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 5, 2009 Shared with my buddy before the Railroad Earth show last Friday. Poured a beautiful semi hazey copper colour with a big off white head. Taste was generously hoppy super satisfying and pleasent with grapefruit and plenty of citrus character. Aroma is slightly floral with fruity notes and soft pine. Otherwise astringent taste, a little chewy in the finish and very firm on the palate. sigma23 (235), , Maine, USA
