Commercial Description:
Okay, it was going to be a Maibock, but you know how mischievous goats can be...anyway we ended up with this delight. What to do but add a crack of black pepper? Around here we call it Goatzilla, but don't let that fool you, it's mellow as a kitten.

22oz bottle-Caramel and malty aroma on an amber body. Nice malty and slight hop taste with a bit of caramel on the back end. Alight to medium body. Overall a good tasting beer.

Clear, bright amber body with a modest, dusty white head. Very sweet candy corn and caramel aroma. Flavor is sweet with amber malt and pepper notes. Lots of heavy phenolics and sweetness in the finish. Not my cup of tea.

best doublebock i’ve had. sweet, but not cloying. not so much dark fruits (as with lots of dopplebocks) as more apple/pear flavors. light body, light in color but not really "blonde."

DL06: Poured a clear amber color with a thin off-white head. The beer was pretty much as I expected it would be. Sweet fruity malt. Nice apple notes. The body was a little light for the style. Otherwise not too shabby.

Strong, malty and sweet aroma on this brew. Great-looking body: dark-golden layer with a thin head. Floral and full of heather flavor. Pleasant and quite enjoyable. Chewy and bready finish. Slighly spicy with a nice amount of hops. Just the right amount in fact, and this is a very well-balanced beer. The lingering earthiness and herbalness is very nice.

Poured a maroon body with a small tan head that leaves the brew quickly. The aroma is malty sweet caramel, lime citrus, hop presence and nice fruity esters in the nose. The taste is sweet syrupy upfront, followed by a bitter hop balance of grapefruit and caramel. The finish is weak somewhat watery in the body leaving you wanting more. Decent brew but nothing spectacular.

nice fiery gold body with a lacadaisacle ring of grey head(some weird scribbles about big beer and upsetting something and trying something else are in my notes, someday i’ll figure out what i meant)penny and donut flavor with a glaze. i also wrote "jesus shit out a waffle" here too. some candy corn here.

Strawberry honey pour. Sugary sweet nose is layered with a slight smoke note. Lots of peach and caramel in the body - bready dough as well. Very easy to drink considering the high ABV. Not exactly sure how this is a doppelbock - it is certainly missing any highly roasted caramalt notes. Still a creamy, smooth drinker that is quite enjoyable.
