| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 13, 2006 Cloudy amber with a frothy white head. Aroma was yeast, malt, citrus zest, cloves, coriander. Light bodied and watery texture. Flavor was nondescript. Not a good beer. Thaichile (599), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 11, 2006 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden with no head. Very little carbonation. This was the wit that almost was. It fell short on both spice and citrus flavors. Very thin and bland. It was not offensive in anyway, just not as robust as many other Belgian Whites. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 1, 2006 Pours mostly clear - if there is bottle conditioning it is very little. Mainly wheat malt on the aroma, very light on the spice and citrus. Taste is almost devoid of the light citrus on the nose. It is mainly just the wheat with some coriander on the finish. After the coriander comes a funky astringency that just lingers. I used to like this Wit quite a bit a few years ago, but it has seemed to have gone downhill in recent years. This was supposedly a very fresh batch, unfortunately it didn’t taste very fresh. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 24, 2006 Pours a sandy/golden, well-hazed and headless aside from a white halo. Diacetyl and sulphur hide just beneath yeasty bananas, smoke & clove. Flavor showcases the dry yeast profile with clove taking center stage. Light carbonation adds to the dry spiciness, but the aftertaste hangs on sourly. Maybe it’s partially due to the snow on the ground, but I’m not really enjoying this particular Witbier.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 21, 2006 As with most American
wit’s lacks the orange and spice associated with the most respected wit, Hoegaarden. Hazy body decent head, spicy but no orange as advertized. An average seasonal, but I find the timing somewhat odd. murawski (158), USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 3, 2005 Ordered for the first time in Chicago as part of a sampler featuring Two Brothers beers. A rather bland, un-exciting witbier -- and I love my witbier. Nice color but a very flat pour, little aroma, and also little flavor. Not the worst of the white ales, but definitely near the bottom of the list. hopdog (5606), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 25, 2005 Bottle best before 9/18/05. Poured a medium and hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of coriander, oranges and lemons. Tastes of oranges, spices and wheat. The body wasn’t quite as thin or watery as some of the other Belgian Wit beers I’ve had lately. Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA
