Rather a mediocre offering for their anniversary beer - It pours a hazy straw color. The small bubbly white head is slow to form, but does manage to vanish rather quickly. The aroma is fairly acidic with slight hints of the coriander and orange peel. The two spices show themselves in the flavor, a bitter rind coming in first. There’s a hint of citric, yeasty flavors, but these are very mild. The finish is orange peel bitter.

A little cloudy. Aroma is sweet and inviting. Taste is a combination of lemon, yeast, and spice that finishes very dry. Slightly sour and then disappears. Refreshing, but nothing spectacular.

Not like any other witbiers I’ve had before. Not as zingy of a flavor and the after taste isn’t quite as tart as other I’ve had.

I tried this out of the bottle and it poured a very clear yellow color--not at all like a wit at all. I ended up swirling the dregs of the bottle like a hefeweizen in order to get some haze in there. The flavor and aroma more than made up for what it lacks in appearance. Maybe not entirely traditional but citric and zesty with just a hint of spice. A slightly unusual take on the style but one I enjoyed.

I really enjoyed this beer. A refreshing Wit beer with excellent color, head and aroma. Will definitely buy again.

Clouded lemon or banana jello color, thin firm white cap, slips quickly away to a small collar, lacing is in minimal thin whispy stings. Aroma is set back a bit with some light lemon, dulled, still wheaty fresh with some restraining malty sweetness, a bit zippy with a crispyness;clove and nutmeg undertones. Taste is mild but with a bit of luster to it. Lightly lemony, lightly wheaty, barely a spice, but detectable, with a spritz of lime and clove. Feel is smooth and light with a shy medium body, end is dry, not as pulpy or thick as I like out of a white and it don’t have any lasting qualities other then some slight spicey lime leftovers. A very average drinker, boring with a bit of something to carry through, but not nearly enough for memorable interest.

Uneven short lived white head on a hazy light gold body. Coriander dominates first sniff, some light orange citrus later. Wheat malt appears as it warms as coriander starts to fade into balance; that’s about it. Lightly, very lightly tart flavor w/ wheat malt flavors; well balanced; light orange peel flavor, coriander finish & aftertaste also with a light hop flavor. Not quite as crisp or refreshing as a true Wit. Finish is dry. Higher than average carbonation, dry m/f, lighter body and lightly prickly. Not a great Wit, but not a bad effort. Above average as Wits go.

Decent beer. It pours with just a little head that disappears quickly. It is a hazy golden color. The aroma is mostly spicey with what I assume is coriander. Flavor is too sticky sweet with some orange and the same spice that is in the aroma. The finish carries the spicy flavor out. It is very easy drinking.
