Commercial Description:
This classic Belgian-style White Beer is brewed with unmalted wheat, a touch of oats, and then traditionally spiced with coriander and orange peel for a crisp, refreshing taste and spicy aroma.

Bottle purchased at Corral Liquors in Granite City, IL. Pours a hazy gold with a ton of rising bubbles and a large, frothy (yet fairly dense), white head. The nose is a slightly dusty, sour wheat with supporting notes of coriander and mild orange peel. Light-bodied and thin with a short spicy finish. Similar to the nose, the flavor is a traditional witbier profile with the pendulum swung heavily toward the coriander side of things. A tad overly spiced and unbalanced for my tastes, but it’s a serviceable wit. With a bit less coriander and/or a bit more orange peel, this would be my kind of witbier.

Pour is lightly hazed bright yellow...taste is peppery at first with a nice toasty flavor coming out as it warms...quick clean finish...

12oz Bottle - Trade - Pumpkinheart
Aroma – Decent amount of Belgian yeast in the aroma with a light malt backing.
Appearance – Golden yellow in color, Nice head and clear.
Flavor – A very well balanced beer has a great wit flavor. The beer was balanced with hops and malt and the yeast added to the flavor. Subtle spices also.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, great texture with a good dry finish.
Overall – A very nice Wit beer has some good qualities. Liked the very light fruity flavor the beer gives off.

Bottle. Flavorful, wet wit, yet a bit too thick in the finish to be super refreshing. Small, frothy, white head that fades quickly. the body is hazy and golden/yellow. Forward aroma of spice, mainly coriander and clove. Hints of orange peel and grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly acidic. Some tartness in the finish along with a slightly off-taste of rubber. Medium body with moderate, but adequate, carbonation.

12oz bottle: Hazy wheat pour with a classic white overcoat and a thick white head. The nose is very tempting, lots of wheat, fresh dough, sweet orange and coriander. The body is smooth and the carbonation is prickly enough to break up the complex body for enjoyment. Starts sweet with citrusy orange and honeyed malt. The body evolves with heavier notes of coriander and funky wheat. Drinks smooth and is a real refresher. Wish I had picked up more.

Got this one on draught in a growler at the brewery in Warrenville, Illinois. Medium orange pour with a thick, foamy white head. Nice banana and orange peel nose. A bit zesty and spicy, but with a silky mouthfeel. Unusually peppery for a belgian wheat. Might taste good with a wedge of lemon but I didn’t. Soft finish. A pretty good American example of the style.

12oz bottle, 08 vintage. thanks xnoxhatex for the bottle. i take back all the bad stuff i said about you behind your back and to your face. pours hazy orange with white head. mainly orange peel in the nose. flavors are citrusy, some wheat but not much, very subtle pepper in the finish. watery body. this is a weak example of a wit. a tasty light citrusy beer but not much coriander and wheat. and it doesn’t look like no wit i ever had.

Pours hazy light golden with a mostly receding wispy off-white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, coriander, citrus, creamy wheat. Taste is spicy, peppery, and yeasty. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Well crafted wit.
