Strong chocolate prescence, light hops, also some tea flavors and a touch of milk. Medium, rounded out body. Not bad but lacking that special something. footbalm (1219), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2005 Deep,dark mohagany brew with a rich tan head.lots of roasted malts which isn’t bad but I do not get much of the chocolate and/or molasses that you might expect from an Imperial Stout.Pretty onesided.Has a nice bitter finish. thegreenrooster (1842), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 26, 2005 Pour is black as midnight with a small tan head. Aroma is malty. Flavor is roasted malts with some chocolate in there. I agree with some of the raters here that the flavor is overall weak for the style. Rather average brew. zathrus13 (1313), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 26, 2005 This draft brew poured a very large sized invigorated head of finely sized long lasting bubbles that left behind an opaque black colored body with no visible carbonation. The aroma was malty and the mouth feel was incl bubbly initially with a tingly smooth finish that contained notes of dark malts and mild coffee. piwodevo (53), chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 8, 2005 Dark brown, not quite black, with a decent but short-lived caramel head. Low aroma, no hops in it, just slight burnt sugar smell. The body feels thin, not quite imperial thickness. Good sweet maltness, with quick, sharp bitterness giving a tinny effect. The aftertaste is most definitely coffee with a caramel flavor lingering on the tongue. Pretty good, but these guys need to step it up in order to get recognized. It seems like they’re skimping on ingredients. Pump it up with malt & maybe it would fly, but as is.....kinda so-so. humulus (338), Salem, Missouri, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 3, 2005 Like a can of black olives in color, consistency and aroma. I’m not kidding, the brown hazy color of this dishwater instantly made me question whether it had gone bad. The flavor is hoppy and sour with little body or dignity. There is a roasted malt and a hop quality, else it remains as flacid and lifeless as Bob Dole’s weiner (sans viagra). No head, punishing palate and poor presentation. Pretty weak. I expected something a little classier from Two Brothers. Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA
