Commercial Description:
OH BROTHER! is one of a series of special limited-run beers in styles that are more extreme or unusual.

This crisp, straw-colored ale is blessed with a host of spicy and fruity aromas. We brew it from pilsener malt, candy sugar and some very non-traditional hop choices. But hey, we never said we were monks. We're just brothers.

Hazy yellow pour with a thin white head that disipates quickly. Strong banana and candy nose as well as in the taste with some faint bitterness and a smooth and thick mouth feel.

I must say, I didn’t have the highest expectations going into this. Bottle from WLV. Nice phenolic nose of banana and spice, with orange peel. Color is cloudy orange, no head. I kept getting tricked when I tasted it, as I expected the caramelized taste of a decoction, given the front end. Overall, however, had a very nice, dry finish with a fruity middle. Pretty nice tripel, actually...

Cloudy yellow with thin white quickly diminishing head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, fruit, lemon peel and banana. Taste is very fruity with banana leading the way with some berries mixed in. Perhaps a little too sweet and the alcohol is somewhat noticeable, but overall a decent beer.

Hazy hazy yellow, lots of sediment. Minimal head. Flavors of wheat, banana, ripe fruits, yeast, candy sugar and a bit of spice. Medium bodied, smooth on the palate. Low carbonation. Mild spice finish. Pretty solid stuff, definitely one of the better Two Bros offerings.

Pours a hazy golden lemon yellow with very light head. Mostly just white lacing. Aroma yeasty and honey. Notes of banana for the rich fruitiness of it. Flavor is banana and yeast with notes of spice. Body is medium but carbonation is fairly light.

Bottle at Jerry’s. Cloudy dark gold with minimal white head / Nose of banana and spice / Medium body, fine carbonation, moderate sweetness, with some sticky malts but no discernable hops, and a good finish / Flavors of banana, sweet caramel, coriander / Lacks the finesse and hop character of a triple, but pretty good as a dubbel.

reeks of banana and coriander, combined with the cloudy yellow color make this very weizen like. head is nearly non existant, a bit of spice. nose is very very fruity for a tripel. a bit sour and little to no detection of booze. like some of the other two brothers ’artisan’ line this seems to miss the mark in terms of what it seems to have been hoping to achieve but thats only when compared to a definition of a style they labeled the bottle with. for without that, this is an interesting beer, to say the least.

Cloudy gold color with a thin head. Lots of coriander aroma, marshmallow and wheat. The flavor starts off heavy on the wheat, almost like a witbier. Plenty of coriander. Yeast and bread... very chewy. A bit of sugary sweetness on the finish.
