Commercial Description:
OH BROTHER! is one of a series of special limited-run beers in styles that are more extreme or unusual.

This crisp, straw-colored ale is blessed with a host of spicy and fruity aromas. We brew it from pilsener malt, candy sugar and some very non-traditional hop choices. But hey, we never said we were monks. We're just brothers.

Pours light golden and slightly golden with a mostly receding wispy off-white head. Tastes of banana, pear, pineapple. Mouthfeel is full bodied. Not bad, but a bit under-attenuated and boozy.

Bomber shared amongst some newly found friends during my initial meeting down at the local Jazz Club. Poured a very cloudy light orange with a thin head and touches of mild lacing. Estery aroma of funky banana, spicy cloves, pepper and fresh yeast. Thick and filling, it’s a warm sipper. Nice flavor that is true to the Tripel style, nothing overdone and a touch tame as long as you take your time. Earthy and sweet with some musty hops and fermented fruits. Decent, not near to top of my list but it was tasty.

Pours a cloudy golden with a fairly thick white head that is constantly replenished by a steady stream of bubbles. Has a nutty bready aroma. Very smooth. Taste is soft for a tripel. Has a very sweet pale malt flavor along with bananas and cloves as well as a bread dough quality. Alcohol warms after the swallow. Quite good.

22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange. Fruity aroma. Flavors of light bready yeast, apricots, and citrus notes, along with a zingy sourness. Alcohol flavors absent. One of the better examples of the style I’ve tried. Hope to have another some day.

Glowing orange body, but the aroma lacks direction. It has a little fruity sweetness, and an almost metallic grassy smell. Flavor comes through a little bitter, not too sweet and a little grassy. Palate is smooth through and through. Not much of a bite to it at all. Very drinkable and and a little earthy (and a tad metallic).

22oz. Thanks, Bri. Hazy golden. Biscuit malt with spicy yeast. Good amount of fruit and moderate sweetness. Not bad.

Pours orange with a fine, white head. Woo! Really spicy and sweet. Mild sour aftertaste. Aroma is sweet and almost nutty in a strange way to me. Very good and spicy.

Light orange with small frothy head. Very lively and different. Dry and crisp with a spicy finish. Pepper taste with well hidden alcohol.
