Commercial Description:
OH BROTHER! is one of a series of special limited-run beers in styles that are more extreme or unusual.

This crisp, straw-colored ale is blessed with a host of spicy and fruity aromas. We brew it from pilsener malt, candy sugar and some very non-traditional hop choices. But hey, we never said we were monks. We're just brothers.

(Draught) Pours a cloudy golden body with a small white head. Aroma of banana, floral, honey, sourdough, apple cider vinegar, and orange. Flavor of banana, orange peel, clove, coriander, white pepper, and some apple with a soft mouthfeel. This was a pleasant surprise. Excellent tripel!

on draft at buckeye beer engine - straw yellow color with tiny white head. Aroma has a ton of bananna, crisp continental pilsner malts, touch of honey and grains of paradise. Flavor is malty, with lots of bananna, touch of pepper, coriander, orange peel, and honey. Finish is fairly sweet. Fairly good overall.

Poured bright orange with quickly fading head. Smells of sweet yeast and slight citrus fruits. Tastes orange wheat with moderate acidity. Slightly filling but not too thick. High ABV is noticeable but not repulsive. Tripel not being my favorite, this was still pretty good.

Pours hazy orange / gold with a soapy white head. The aroma has sweet malt, light cotton candy / bubblegum, earthy Belgium yeast, some spice and banana. Medium / full rich body with gentle soft carbonation. The flavor starts a bit rich with big malt, earthy yeast and the rest of the aroma traits. The finish is quite phenolic. A decent American version of a tripel.

I have decided that I am done with using Two Brother beers for my milestones, thus the three in a row. Bomber from West Lakeview Liquors, Chicago. Hazy orange with small, fizzy white head. Aroma is big spice with yeast and sweet fruit, orange and quite a lot of hops. Sweet, medium alc flavor, big spices and yeast, American hops, orange, banana; as it warms up the typical Triple flavors come through that I don’t like: overly spiced, perfume, hairspray, cloying sweet. Medium body and fizzy carbonation. Meh, meh meh meh, mehhhhh.

Pours a light orange with a very little head. Aroma of apricot, peaches, some bannana, citrus and spices. Flavor of citrus, yeast, herbs, and a bit sour and dry. Mouthfeel is ok, but i’m not really feeling this one.

Pours a hazy deep golden color with no head. Aroma is citrus and spices. Nice sweetness, but something is lacking in the flavor.

22 oz bomber. Pours a hazy hay color (like an unfiltered wheat) with sediment and little head or lacing. Aromas of fruits, yeast, and a little alcohol. Flavors of banana and sweat bread, with a balancing of citusy and spicy hop notes. med to full bodied, soft carb, dry texture and feel. A different and fun beer that I am glad I tried.
