Excellent - one of the best beers that I’ve tried in a while. It reminded me a little of a Belgian brew which was unexpected. Highly recommended.

Glowing golden, slightly hazy with wee bit ’o head. Mild nose with a twitching sensation of Belgian spice-osity. A prickly cusion of carbonation lends much needed crispness along with a healthy dose of bitterness in the finish. Flavor is very mild almost to the point of being watery. Still, this is a highly quaffable belgian--not a common thing.

My biggest complaint about this beer was how much head there was. When I popped the bottle, foam came roaring out of the top of the bottle. At first I thought it was a fluke, but that happened with all 6. Pouring this was next to impossible, this beer produced a lot of foam. Added to that, the taste was average at best.

This is a pretty sweet drink in both aroma and taste. It pours a clear golden color with a whispy white head that parts soon after its into. The taste is lightly sweet malted with gobs of yeasty fruitiness. The finish is a bit sweet and syrupy. I was surprized to see that this was supposed to be a "Belgian ale" style.

53.5 F Lustrous golden -- the color of cooked butternut squash, or maybe golden roasted chicken skin. Bawk, bawk, big yeast floaters. Exploding head, large bubbles, 2 fingers. HOlds its heighth for awhile. Aroma of detergent with orange zest. Opens bright like an open window on a crisp day. Pale malt. Fresh yeast starter made with a starchy flour like semolina, or whole wheat pastry flour. Layer of crisp citrus; orange and lime. Chewy grains flash roasted. A great gulper -- I finished that bottle in 30 seconds, or so. Quaf, quaf, it would go great with duck, or goose and roasted roots and tubers, and green beans and almonds.

Orange. Well orchestated aroma of butter toffee, burnt corn, peaches, spicy and grassy hops along with some grainy and cereal like malts. This tastes like a prairie. Dry, grainy, husky malts put forth notes of caramel, medicine and light fruit. The hops shine through the most here. They are herbal, grassy, quite spicy and not a pleasing combo, for me anyway. Not offensive.

Hazy golden color with a big white head. Weak aroma and flavor of yeast and malt. Dry finish.

My label is different with a none too subtle path through some tall grass. Has a deep gold color with a reddish hue. Small, thin head. Aroma is muted. Has some caramel and a little cinnamon. The taste is pleasant and refreshingly light on the toungue. Has a little spicy nutmeg and some chewy white bread. A nice summer beer.
