Golden pour with fizzy, dissipating head. Fruity aroma of apple juice, earth, some hops. Flavor is perfumy and fruity, decent, some bitterness in the back of the throat. Very carnonated moutfeel. Surprisingly decent golden.

Bottle. Pours a light golden body with a white head. Light malty with definite cereal and bread y character. Caramel and grass this one doesn’t go far...

12oz bottle best by 7/6/09. Pours golden, of course, with a pretty small white head with not that great retention. I’m not that familiar with this style but I would think it would be a bit more carbonated than this. Aroma shows graininess on top of earthy, continental hops. Slightly spicy. Cereal also noted, maybe some wheat. Reminds me a bit of Oberon, could be the Saaz. Flavor is pretty mild, clean, dry with a quick finish. This is very drinkable. This is fine for what it is but couldn’t see myself getting excited over this.

12-oz. Thanks, Headbanger! Pours crystal clear medium gold with a towering, thick, fluffy, egg-white-like platinum blonde head. Really hard to get it under control so you can finish pouring, in fact. Lots of sticky, webby lacing. Dry, grassy, hay-like nose. Fizzy light body. Sharp wet grass sourness hits you right from the attack. Big DMS-y sourness on the mid-palate, rolling into the finish.

Bottled. Hazy golden in color with a huge foamy white head. Very dry grainy aroma. Some grassiness as well. Flavor consists of some grains, malts and hops. Some metallic qualities as well. Drinkable. Interesting twist on the style. My bottle was 5.1%.

12 oz bottle courtesy of the Binny’s Singles Rack (Orland Park, IL). Pours a honeycomb golden hue with a decent egshell white head, little to no haze, and well carbonated. Aromas are grainy up front, light sweet cereal malts with subtle light grassy bouquet. Initial has a nice full bodu for the style, grainy cereal malts sweetness, light fruity notes, candy, touch of bitterness, and overall smooth body. Refreshing with good flavor. Trace lacing. Good for this oft-ignored category for sure.
