From a 375mL Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with black cherry skin hues and a thin layer of fizzy tan head. Excessively sweet aroma of cherry syrup with a bit of a medicinal quality. Notes of chocolate and balsamic vinegar. Medium bodied, mildly spritzy carbonated mouthfeel. Very sweet cherry flavors with some funky oak and an almost nyquil-like spice quality. Heavy and sticky on the palate with earthy balsamic sourness and unpleasant spice. Overly sweet with a medicinal artificial cherry flavor and an unpleasant spicy quality that ruins the palate.

12.7oz, caged and corked bottle. The cork was a real bitch to get out! Bottle stamped 2007. Poured a deeper reddish-brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Lots of huge floaters (especially at the bottom of the bottle). Aromas of sour cherries, cherry pie crust, yeast, and oaky. Tastes of sour and tart cherries, woody, and funky.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry and Blankboy, Harry’s Bottle. 2007. Nice sour cherry, tart aroma. Dark red, no head. Good taste - tart, cherry, yeast - simple but very well done. Not complex or anything but quite drinkable and well done.

Sour tart aroma, low malt aroma , sour cherry aroma. Deep ruby red color with light reddish white head with medium low head retention. Sour cherries and tart lambic sourness with low malt and low to no, hop flavor and bitterness. Light body with thin mouthfeel with sour tart cherry finish! Very clean sorness!

Pours a deep cherry color with minimal light brown head. Aroma is malty, lots of cherry, and slightly musty. Flavor is tart cherries up front, with a hint of malt, and a long bitter cherry finish. Good beer.

Pours a barely transparent dark mahogany with ruby hues and a thin, spotty-lacing light tan head. Aroma of fresh, earthy oaky cherry and semi-sweet dark caramel malt. Body starts with an earthy tart cherry fruitiness along with some mild vegetal flavor before a drier oaky cherry finish. Fairly true to style and well made, a nice fruit lambic.

Corked & caged bottle Small tan head that mostly diminished with virtually no lacing, semi-opaque, reddish-brown hue, and visible carbonation. Nose was sweet, alcohol, tart, and sour cherries. Ditto for the flavor with no real vinuousness. Smooth mouthfeel and light body. Nothing outstanding IMO.
