Pours a very strong tea color with the ugliest colored head I have ever seen, like burnt sienna. A mild sour lambic aroma with a touch of cherries. Mild tartness with some dryness at end. Not much cherry flavor. SoLan (1427), Orlando, Florida, USA

Put your war paint on before going to battle with this cork, almost had to use my kung fu. Very dark brown/ruby/rust with a small, short lived layer of grayish tan foam. Looks cool. Flavor and aroma of tart cherries, light spice, strong dose of lightly toasted malt support, with some cheerio like grain on the finish. Smooth, medium body. Interesting brew, would like more sourness. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Wow, the cork took forever to remove. Hazy, cherry red and orange/brown pour. A creamy but fizzy dark beige head fades quickly to let red shine through. A very interesting pour. Cherry and brown sugar and caramel dominate the aroma. Mildly tart, very lightly yeasty and with no apparent alcohol. A very lovely nose that begs the end of analysis and the first sip’s commencement. Watery dispersment of ingredients and disorganized and too-soft traits are compounded by a tartness that overtakes all in its path. Lively carbonation further accelerates this annoyance. The flavor is still decent, even seeming well balanced, but is not really rewarding. Sweetness and tartness mingle amiably. The finish is acidic, with hints of drying tartness and notes of Acerola and orange blossom water. Mouthfeel is lively, thin and has some unpleasant bitterness. It started out nice, but ultimately feels incredibly stale and drab for such a young and tart beer. JohnC (2286), Mission Viejo, California, USA

Well, if there ever was a ’smooth’ lambic, this is it. Tart cherry aroma and a tangy flavor, but it is surpisingly easy drinking. I was expecting more funk shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA

5/19/2007: My wife and I drank this to celebrate our second wedding anniversary while on our anniversary trip in Southwest Michigan. We enjoyed this while staying at the Monroe Manor Inn in South Haven, Michigan... Two Brothers Project Opus 10 pours an interesting brownish-red color. My wife describes it as "velvety toupe-pink" (whatever than means!). The araoma is tart with some cherry and musty, fruity Lambic-like characteristics. The flavor is tart cherries at first, then alcohol, then some Belgian fruitiness with a hint of spice (cinnamon), and finally it moves into a strong finish. This beer has a light body and is effervescent. There is a bit more sweetness and this beer is more interesting when it gets warmer. It has a champagne-like feel in the mouth. Overall all this was pretty good Lambic and a good start for Two Brothers as they venture into their Lambic series. However, I’m not sure that it warrants the $8.99+tax price per bottle! I would guess that this beer would become more sweet and fruity with some age on it (6 months to a year or so). Maybe some of the cherry might come out more.
12.7 oz (375 ml) corked and caged bottle from River’s Bend Wine and Spirits. Very impressive packaging, although the cork is nearly impossible to pull out without vise grips or somehting! OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 29, 2007 12.7oz bottle with a rediculously stupid cork that almost broke the corkscrew due to it’s length - Pours dark ruby brown with a big tan head that stays well and laces some. Aromas of tart cherry and maybe a touch of yeast. Flavor is much less sour than the aroma would indicate. I seem to get some cherry but much more dust and yeast, and maybe even a touch of chocolate. Not bad just not really what I was expecting I guess. Quite drinkable with soft carbonation and a slight acidity on the palate. bgburdman9 (823), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Flavor was allright but just a little bland and dusty. Not much of a sourness at all to this just a light tartness. Not a bad attempt at all. Really dry not much sweetness at all.
