Pours a dark copper color with a brown head. Aroma is of cherries, dark fruits, oak, barnyard, and wild yeast. Flavor starts off with the barnyard, oak, and dark fruits up front. Finishes slightly sour and tart with the cherries and some wild yeast. Maybe needs just a hint more cherry but not too much. Overall it’s a pretty good lambic.

Bottle 2007. Fermented aroma along with mild cherry. Murky brown body with decent head. Mild amount of lacing on bottom of glass along with some sediment. Flavor was mild sour and tart and fruity flavor was week for a lambic. Not as sour and tart on the palate. Just whish more of the cherry flavor was present. Wife picked this one up on her visit to Wi. for me.

375mL bottle, courtesy of BBB63. Thanks, Mike! I should take points off this beer for being perhaps the most difficult corked and caged bottle I’ve ever had the misfortune to meet. But I won’t, because the interior’s tasty. Pours a dark, cola-brown color, like the color of blackberries; greyish head with solid retention and lacing. White pepper and bing cherries in the aroma; very light fruit character, with more of a tripel / doughy presence. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: slightest tartness, if any - more of a bing cherry note, with a strong dried fruit / cola presence; not what I think to be an authentic kriek, by any means, but an interesting cherry-laden twist to a dark belgian ale. Medium, dusty, cola, and doughy finish; interesting.

clear dark burgandy, frothy beige head, lots of drippy lace, strong tart cherry aroma with an underlying sweetness that picks up a very musty barnyard character upon warming, rich cherry flavor, lots of cherry tartness is offset by a bit of sweetness that comes out of the cherry richness, good interplay betwwen the rich and tart cherry character, gets really funky and interesting once it warms,

Aroma is brett all up in my grill! Lightly tart, sour aroma. Pours Deep, purple, red, with a light white head. Flavor is tart with a sweet final hit. Not horribly fruity, but very bretty. A little more fruit would balance this out nicely, however, good beer nevertheless.

Bottle: Pours a reddish dark brown with a khaki head. Aroma, tart and fruity, some yeasty notes. Flavor, fruity, with some sourness, tart cherries. A little woody, but not all that noticeable. Solid.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry and tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Vintage 2007. Pours a murky orange-brown with lots of little floaties and an average size diminishing off-white head. Pleasant funky, yeasty Lambic aroma. Flavour of sour and tart cherries, quite funky along with wood and yeast. Medium bodied. I thought this was a great beer, well done!

This 2007 corked and caged bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized light brown colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a semi-opaque softly carbonated dark brown colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malty and cherry. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of malt cherry and lambic like. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
