Commercial Description:
Black Ale Brewed With Coffee Beans RED EYE Coffee porter is one of a series of special limited run beers in styles that are more EXTREME or unusual. Porter’s an elusive dark ale that has been constantly changing during its long 300 year history. We figured it was about RIPE for some REINVENTION. 23.3 Plato 40IBUs 9.2 ABV

Bottle shared. Poured dark brown with a nice tan head. Aroma of bitter coffee, chocolate, light vanilla. Taste is simialrly roasted, with some bitter notes, little vanilla, & caramel. Finish is little bitter and slightly warming, though alcohol is not that present. Overall, a solid roasty brew.

bomber from flssmrbrewalum... very dark brown pour has some faint brick reddish tints and is capped by a creamy tan head with a bunch of spotty lacing. the nose is quite faint... oddly... a bit smoky, roasty grain, wood, chocolate and sour coffee. the flavor... well, not a whole lot going on... this is nothing but a great texture until the beer gets up to about 70° . the coffee is definitely more prominent in the aroma... along with notes of bittersweet chocolate, caramel/almost toffee, roast, slightly burned nuts, lacto and spicy dry finish. alcohol leaks out at this temperature. a medium to rich/medium body is thick and creamy yet prickly and highly drinkable as well. 6/3/6/4/14/3.3

When did I last enjoy a $7 bomber this much? Sweet porter nose with roast, deliciously strong coffee, vanilla, chocolate. Pitch pour with a smooth, jiggly, extremely extremely dense head. Taste sweet and syrup, big red fruit up front before the coffee and roast come flying in to bitter up from the back. Notable alcohol but not burny. Complex aftertaste, weavingly tobacconous with light vanilla and wooden undertones. Body is a little thicker than iced coffee, a little slicker. BBB63 is right to bring up the Baltic style - this just has too much in common from its flavor profile. I love coffee beers and I love this!

Very dark brown pour (almost black) with thick tan head that lingers long. Strong roasty nose, full of toasted grain and coffee grounds. Flavor is intensley roasted barley malts, espresso, chocolate, and vanilla. Very nicely brewed on every level.

22oz bomber served in a snifter. Dark brown pour with some faint ruby highlights and a thick head of creamy tan foam that hung around for a bit. Excellent lacing. The aroma had freshly ground coffee beans, chocolate, and some faint vanilla. Mildly roasty. The flavor had a heavy dose of fresh coffee. Lightly bitter and roasty. Rich chocolate and caramel were hiding underneath the coffee. Not really any trace of alcohol. The mouthfeel was medium to full-bodied and slightly oily. Lightly carbonated. Pretty nice. An unexpected treat from Two Bros.

Bottle. Pours near black with a beige head. Roasty coffee aroma with a light sweetness. The flavor is similar, with roasted malts, coffee, and caramel like sweetness. Pretty good.

Bomber. Pours black with a reddish hue to the edges. Off-white head with some lacing. Rich coffee nose, hints of honey, roasty malts. More coffee in the flavor, roast, caramel malts, semi-sweet, hints of vanilla and slight tinny hints. A little chalky in the mouth, medium carbonation, nice hop finish with a fair amount of bitterness to balance. The ABV is not apparent.
