22 oz bottle. Dark brown with a bubbly oatmeal head. Nose is mocha and brown sugar with a touch of tobacco leaf. Medium body with soft carb. Taste is coffee, chocolate syrup, more coffee and nuts. Dry finish, pith, some licorice.

Cask at Small Bar. Pours a deep black with no head. Nose is mildly roasty, though I get more chocolate than anything. Taste is much the same, lightly sweet, very clean. A touch bitter and roasty, though very subtle coffee incorporation. It lets you know it’s there without making you choke on coffee. Pretty nice and one of the smoother, clean beers that I’ve had from two brothers. Nice.

On cask @ Small Bar. What a nice surprise. A really mellow coffee aroma and very very dark brown almost black pour with no head. Fairly thin-bodied with well balanced coffee ad chocolate flavors, slight roasty finish.

Tulip glass draft poured on tap at binnys south loop (chicago, il). Pours a nice black pour with medium light chocolate milk brown head that laces. Aromas are a nice coffee ground and chocolate nose, subtle roasted malts that are wrapped up by the sweetness. Initial is a bit lighter bodied than expected, decent roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate creamy sweetness that balances well. A little underwhelming flavorwise, but a good brew that is very balanced. Creamy chocolate and bitter flavorful coffee make the body and finish. A bit roasty finish. This is really a pretty good brew, albeit better presentation would move it up considerably.

Bottle from Jungle Jims. Poured black color with a large frothy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted malty and chocolate aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium dark chocolate and coffee bittersweet flavor with medium dark sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid complex beer.

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of coffee, malts, chocolate, light bitter chocolate or bitter coffee, roasting, and something a little stale. Poured extremely dark brown in color with a small than head that lasted as a film on the top of the beer. Cloudy. Slightly sparkling. Full of medium-sized particles throughout. Small lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of coffee, chocolate, roasting, malts, slight piney hops, sugar, light caramel, and a slight hint of alcohol. Medium body. Slightly tingly, dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, caramel, light coffee, and light chocolate finish is slightly sticky and lightly dry. 9.2%ABV is very well hidden.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with a medium tan head. The aroma is roasted coffee, slight chocolate, with a hint of acidity. The flavor is coffee, roasted malt, char, chocolate with some caramel sweetness. Medium bodied at best. This had some nice things going on but there was just something a little off that drops the rating a bit.

Bottle. Pours a deep viscous black color, minimal head that quickly dissipates. Flavor is dark chocolate, medium roast coffee, cocoa powder, coffee malt, roasted malt, caramel malt. Finishes with a nice bittering hop note. Nicely done, Two Bros has been stepping up to the plate lately.
