This is the fresh florality I was craving when I started grousing about my recent pale experiments a few reviews back. Its unfortunate that there isn't much to back up that bright leafy beginning, but the lack of backbone is almost forgiven because of the nose and rush of flavor at the start.

But American Pale? Nonsense. Nose is sweet malt, almonds, not a trace of hop. Flavor is a nice sweet ESB flavor - I can’t put it any better. Not a US Pale. gsmitty80 (642), Washington DC, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 20, 2009 I did not enjoy this pale ale much at all. Not a lot of hops were present and it wasn’t very bitter like the label states. Watery and grassy, just not anything to get excited about. satan165 (581), River Grove, Illinois, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Pours clear medium amber with a 1 finger creamy off white head. Aroma is citrus, sweet grass, light caramel and some wet rock mineral notes. Flavor is sweet malt, a little caramel, light sweet grainy notes, a little buttery toasted bread and mineral notes. FInish is lightly bitter hops, a little citrus and sugary sweet malt. Palate is fairly light bodied kinda slick on entry and off dry finishing. Can’t complain about this stuff, but it’s really not much to brag about. j12601 (1298), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
