Commercial Description:
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Amazing brew. Although Oberon is king amongst alot of my friends, this is the best Bell’s brew I’ve had. Can drink these again and again and still feels new and exciting. Perfectly hoppy befitting it’s IPA style. Love the packaging. Pours about half-finger head, great lacing and mouthfeel. Floral accents and a great bite to it. One of my favorites.

This has been and will remain one of the best IPA I have ever had. The balance between floral hops and bitters is just point on. One of the better examples of what can happen when hops are done right. The flavor of the beer leave you with little to no alch feel. If you are new to IPAs and want to start at the top this is one of them

This stuff runs out of the taps in my neck of the woods at the local downtown pubs like water. Though i’m not a huge fan of this ipa it is a good go to when your trying to figure out what to drink next. Has a bitter hop bite that i’m not fond of but does leave a semi pleasant aftertaste. Put it on your to try list!

The first time I had this I was unexcited. Perhaps it was the unappealing packaging. On tap, I had an epiphany. This is a great beer! Intensely hoppy but not overpowering by any means. Floral hops are there for flavor, not for hop’s sake. Full, yet refreshing. Very complex, yet balanced for its style. Absolutely a "go to" beer. An IPA by which to judge others.

12 oz. bottle on 8/10/09. Pours hazy golden orange decent head. Beautiful lavender floral hops with a hint of lemon. Very refreshing lemon honey sweetness on the tongu. Then, and slow very mild bitter finish. Leaves a great sweet floral honey aftertaste on the tongue. Nice amount of activity on the tongue and a smooth medium body. Absolutely amazing for the ABV and so incredibly refreshing.

Appearance: Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized white frothy head. Lots of carbonation streaming from the bottom. Smell: Citrus with a wonderful floral and pine hop smell. Not overpowering but just right. Taste: Malty and sweet at the beginning and then the hop flavors take over. The citrus taste is pleasant and not overpowering and the floral and pine hops blend well together. There is a semi-bitter hop finish at the end which leaves a smooth aftertaste. Mouthfeel/drinkability: Actually has a light but sticky mouth feel. Carbonation is just right. The hop finish and aftertaste is really good.

Tap @ Dexter’s Pub - Had this one a million times, but finally getting around to rating it. Pour clear amber with a big white head. Smells great, with crisp, citrusy hops and some biscuity malt. It just smells really fresh and clean. Tastes sweet and hoppy, starting with the citrus hops up front, then transitioning to the dry, bitter hops on the finish. No matter how many times I come back to this one, I find it never disappoints.

Bottle@Akkurat Apperance: Golden copper with a big, white, head. Aroma: Citric notes, Hops, Caramel, Pine. Flavor: Toffee, Caramel, Pine, Citric Notes, Hops. Palate: Very balanced IPA with nice initial sweetness and some refreshing bitterness at the end making this an easy drink. Damn good IPA. Period.
