Almost looks like a pilsner; fairly light color compared to alot of American IPAs. Citrusy hops on the nose with a bit of spice. Taste of piny hops with a nice honey malt balance. Fantstic biter finish that makes you want more. An excellent IPA from an excellent brewery. Drewsi227 (16), Florida, USA

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jun 3, 2009 I had this beer with BeerBaron617 today. It’s not the first time I have had it, but really the first time I really enjoyed it. I only recently have gotten into craft beer, let alone beers in general, and the first time I had this beer it was just a bit too strong, too much flavor going on, and I wasn’t a fan. After having had some decent beer I have developed the taste for not only for beers in general, but for IPA’s which sometimes seem a bit strong to my palate. It poured a bit of a yellow/amber color with a white head that seems to be lasting for a while. It tastes really orangy and hoppy, but it’s very balanced. Pretty sweet and quite tasty! I really really like this beer! trevor211 (518), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a transparent light orange with a thick head. Sweet citrus hops and some herbal notes in the aroma, with a big honey malt counter. Almost a bit of bubble-gum sweetness. Vibrant carbonation and a mild flavor. Refreshing... not fantastic at first, but it has a wonderful aftertaste that brings you right back into it. snakeoilpete (324), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 19/20 | Jun 2, 2009 Oh, that’s amazing. Like the maharaja, this has way more going for it than just hops. I taste honey, rosewater, cookies, nutmeg. It’s like a winter spice beer mixed with an IPA. I now can say that I’m a fan of the style. Gorgeous head with the darkest body I’ve seen on an IPA. BUY THIS!. Bottle at quick stop in South Miami.
