Commercial Description:
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Nose is hoppy with grapefruit, lemon slightly metallic. Taste of citrusy hops. Nice bitter long finish.

Bakery fresh aroma and a lovely dark amber pour. The massive hops die a bit in the aftertaste making this actually refreshing. Malty and bitter with a bit of a watery backdrop. Bells is one of my favorite American brewers. Quite nice.

Bottle. Medium to deep gold color with a thick, nice head. Rich malt and fruit nose, a bit metallic. Very fruity flavor with cherry and big citrus hops. Very piney and peppery. Bitter finish. Nice stuff, but maybe not in its best condition. At least 6 months old.

The beer pours a medium dark amber color. This is a very good IPA. The taste is a spirited citrus. There is mild carbonation present and a very subtle malt base. It is a very smooth IPA.

Pours a deep, clear, golden color with an ambitious white head that leaves behing a sticky lacing. Aroma is dominated by citrus (lemon and orange notes) as well as pine, with a slight caramel aroma underneath it. Taste features a prominent hop bitterness to begin, but is balanced a slight caramel sweetness and a short finish. In all honesty, it seemed a bit watery, and the short finish, which makes it drinkable, undermines it.

Come on guys!! You really need to get out and try more IPA’s This beer is a fraud. It tastes like Fruit Loops! Seriously? They have to be using hop extracts to get this flavor! That and hair spray? This is so artificial, nauseating and and ......... $#%^%. Sorry I just puked. Where is the flavor caramel? The grains? The malt? The yeast? The Bitter? One rater said this was balanced. Obviously he was UNbalanced. If you like this beer you must try Hop Stoopid. Aptly named. Hop extracts should be banned in brewing!!! This beer really pissed me off! It’s absolutely disgusting. If you hated this beer. Please try El Toro Brewing Deuce Double IPA to have a world class IPA.

A: Beautiful straw yellow/orange in color with a head that settles down nicely to one finger. This one is very effervescent with bubbles chasing each other to the top and it has nice lacing for an IPA. S: The wonderful aroma of hops. Earthy with a beautiful smell of citrus and pine. T: I really like this one. I have probably drank over a case of it in the past month or so and I have finally gotten around to reviewing it. This one has the taste of wonderful pink grapefruit. The taste is long lasting and finishes with a sting on the tongue from the bitterness of the hops. Nice! M: Very effervescent, and refreshing D: This is one of the most sessionable around. I session with Alpha king until I run out and then switch over to Two Hearted for the hot Florida summers.

Pours a hazy orange with a thick head and lots of lingering lacing. Strong floral hops and pine aroma. Taste is very balanced. Not as bitter as I was expecting...in a good way. This is a very drinkable beer and one of my favorite IPAs. The long dry bitter finish is worth savoring with each sip.
