Commercial Description:
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Pours a cloudy golden-orange color. Medium head. Aroma is lemon pineapple with slight alcohol. Taste is definitely citrus with malt finishing. Good aftertaste. A nice dry hoppy IPA. Good.

Pours clear yellow with a small quickly diminishing off-white head. Nose is faint floral hops. Flavor is initial citrus hops segueing into a middle cookie maltiness and then switching back to a strong pine/floral hops backbone. Crisp palate, long lingering hops aftertaste. Good.

Smells of lilac, lime peel, orange peel. Taste is on tilt toward heavy citrus, the most citrus that I’ve ever tasted in a regular IPA. The flavor overall is very smooth and without having to cope with an over the top bitter hop presence, this sucker is drinkable sumptin fierce. Palate is a crafty mix of medium bodied heft and careful light caronation, definately fills your mouth. I think what seperates this is the pronounced softness of the finish as compared to other IPAs, really supple and buttery especially at higher temps. I wouldn’t walk through glass for this but it is a great addition to the style and I’m glad to have it. The date on the case said March 10 2009 for bottling, I wonder how this would be super fresh, maybe even better. Thanks Bells. 2009 12oz.

Pours a deep orange. So much citrus aromatics and pine. Flavor is malty and hopped up. Excellent balance. I can drink this beer forever. A staple in my fridge.

overall a decent ipa. flowery hoppiness with citrus on the nose and a decent dose of hops in the flavour. Some grapefruit seems to come through in the flavour also. PAlate is decent. IOverall a good ipa although nothing to jump and down over in my opinion

This is a great IPA. Very drinkable with a nice combo of citrus and bitter hops. I could drink a ton of these. Great Flavor and Aroma. One of my favorite IPA’s so far

Fantastic beer. A wonderfully crafted, gold-orange pour with dense, white head and some lacing. Finishes dry, with the help of a grapefruit citrus hop profile.

Without a doubt my favorite IPA. A cloudy orange pour with a robust white head. Nose of grapefruit, hops. Taste a complex balance of hops & malt (with hops coming out on top). Never get tired of this one (which can be dangerous). Unfortunately, not available in NJ, but always worth the drive to PA.
