Commercial Description:
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Bottled(355ml). -Courtesy of heavy ( thanks!), shared with Doggythedog.
Murky orange coloured, medium sized white head, strong floral fruity nose (a bit unpleasant). Aromatic hoppy and fruity taste with notes of orange peel and touch of grapefruit in the finish.

Pours slightly hazy amber with a 3 finger chunky off white heat that has great retention and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is huge on fresh citrus and pine hops, there are some floral notes in there but citrus dominates. Theres also melon, strawberry taffey, light caramel, toast, straw, a tiny bit of sour malt. Flavor is really hard to beat. Starts off with light caramel, berries and grapefruit. Then hints of apple, mandarin orange, citrus and pine hops, fresh honeydew melon and starfruit. Finish is bitter grapefruit, burnt sugar, melon and hints of pine. Palate is perfect for the style starts out slightly creamy medium to light thickness and lively but not overbearing carbonation, juicy and refreshing in the middle and slightly drying but still a little sweetness for the finish. Overall I have to say this is one of the best IPAs I have had I just wish it were more readily available in my area since I hadn’t seen it for 3 years or so before today.

Pours a slightly hazy orange with a solid white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is mostly citrus, with some floral and earthy hops, too. There is also some English style caramel malt detected. Sweet malty start with a nice hop bite at the end. Well balanced. Medium bodied and lightly carbonated. Great beer

Golden body with a thick beige head that leaves nice lacing. Wonderful aroma of sweet grapefruit and pine. Crisp palate with medium-high carbonation. The flavor, much like the aroma, is remarkably sweet for an IPA. Sugared grapefruit and sweet malt fade to a bright pine hops finish. A nice lingering hoppy aftertaste. A fine IPA.

Not bad for an IPA. Yellow pour with thinner white head. Slightly bitter hoppiness on the finish.

It pours a hazy golden color. A frothy white head. The aroma of the hops is evident from the beginning, I can smell a little pine in it as well. It has a nice sweet hoppy taste with a tart-bitter finish. It is a very flavorable IPA.

Bottle courtesy of heavy (huge thanks!), shared with ogivlado. Poured a completely murky orange body witha a slightly off white thick head that went away slowly. Lovely fruity hoppy nose, gummi bears, some clemon. The taste is dominated by the aromatic hopiness, again some gummi bears, agrumes from grapefruit to lemon, note all that complex but oh so tasty. Lovely hopiness, long bitter aftertaste. Batch no. 8865.
