Mar 1, 2009 Bottle. Poured a hazy orange color. Strong aroma of citrus and pine. The flavor is quite hoppy but not over-powering. Rather drink a Hopslam but still good.

Feb 28, 2009 12 oz. bottle at Union Jack, Arlington VA. Dark and hazy. Taste is very sharp. The hops are very citrusy, and almost pine-like in its sharpness. Overall, not bad. I appreciate the bold flavors of this IPA although I would prefer a bit more bitterness to go along with the high citrusy-pine cone notes.

Feb 25, 2009 Enjoyed via draft in a pilsner glass. This classic does not disappoint. While the aroma could have been a bit more prevalent, the flavor if this mid-western IPA is nearly unmatched. Hops up front are set in tandem with a finishing sweetness of malt and a dry finish that leaves the drinker reaching for the glass again.

Feb 24, 2009 355ml Bottle shared with Pyrozoid. Hay golden apperance with a thick foamy off white head and nice lacing. Aroma: pine ginger, orange zest and light arome of grapefruit. Flavor: peppery, pine, citrus, hops, anise and mint. Palate: medium body, creamy, average carbonation with a peppery hoppy finish.

Feb 24, 2009 Bouteille. Dégusté avec french tickler et Agaguk. Bière de couleur miel brumeux avec un bon collet très collant. Odeur de pin, citron, cerises et raisins vert. Gout d’épices, clou de girofle e sel.

Feb 24, 2009 pours a hazy honey color with a huge white head. nice retention and lacing. aroma is very citrusy and floral...lots of pineapple! flavor is pinapple up front and loads of grapefruit which lingers in the dry finish. very nice ipa!

Feb 22, 2009 Super belle bouteille qui me donne vraiment le gout d’aller a la peche meme si on est en Février. Apparence Orange qui tire un peu du cuivré un peu brumeuse avec un collet encore tres mousseux et qui colle tres bien au verre... Aromes beaucoup plus fruité et floral que la Stone IPA, peches, oranges, apricots, un peu les poires, caramel et miel. Gout tres cremeux en bouche, IBU beaucoup moin elevé que je l’aurais pensé... j’estime environ 50-55 IBU. Amertume tout de meme tres respectable, tres belle rondeur en bouche. Biere tres balancé. Zest de pamplemousse et un petit coté resineux me chatouille les papilles gustatives. IPA tres impressionante... quoiqu’un peu différente de la STONE IPA elle ne decoit pas.
Correction au degré d’IBU... j’estime 60-65

Feb 22, 2009 Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a very nice looking gold with nice off-hite head. Aroma is great, fruit, pine, and malt, stands out nicely. Flavor is fruity, citrus, some pine, nice balanced bitter. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, high carbonation. Overall, not bad...
