Commercial Description:
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

On tap at CIty Beverage in Durham NC this beer is organge tinted golden in color with a white head and decent lacing. Nice citrus and floral hops in the aroma. First sip I picked up the grapefruit, perfect amount of hops, and subtle malt. This is a very smooth beer and extremely drinkable. Carbonation was perfect.

Nice HUGE fluffy head pops out of this beer to settle into a small fluffy covering of the brew. Lots of citrus, and floral rise up out of the glass to start your taste buds a’ tingling. Nice flavor and smooth resin flavors. Nice beer, ever judged by a Pacific North Westerner. Very drinkable and up there with many of the other top notch IPAs from round these parts.

Tulip glass. Bitter flora aroma, hints of ruby grapefruit and some clementine. Pale caramel pour color, with a fluffy white head. Head is resilient. Great hopped IPA, with flavors matching the aroma.

Bottle at Akkurat 081227. Pours pale golden with thick white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon and floral perfume. Amazing mouthfeel, very pearly and velvety. Clean bitterness with a very dry finish. Slightly herbal hoppiness and some perfume. Clean and simple and very drinkable.

Copper color with a thick shaving cream head. Nice piney hop bitterness swats at the nose. Flavor is crisp and characterized by a strong bitterness, probably healthy doses of Chinook. Some floral notes, but mostly a bitter monster. A tasty, bitter IPA brew.

Sweet pine aroma, with some resin. Nice, simple label with a fish on it. Dark tan, greenish pour. Good flavor of pine, grass, and herbs. A good IPA, but a little overrated i.m.o. I have had many others that can compete with it.

incredibly strong hop bouquet yet not brutally bitter. an excellent IPA, maybe the best I’ve had. orange color, off white abundant head that is fizzy rather than heavy or creamy (yet remains a surprisingly long time for such a head) and releases abundant hop.

Bottle. Pours a bubbling golden hue with a pretty full white head. Sweeter grapefruit, orange zest, but a lightly intense bitterness. Mouth has a slight effervescence with a long dry bitter finish. Overall really pleasant IPA. It is well hopped but not hop-head intensely hopped.
