First tried this beer while camping drinking from a bottle and thought it was amazing now that I can properly drink it, its even better. Such a rich strong palate, a burst of hops its a really nice brew, alcohol is well hidden, substantial complexity. Very, very nice brew. Bells is just an amazing brewery. hayduke (1677), Eureka, California, USA

The pub pour came with no head or lacing so I cannot rate that. Very powerful head of citrus hops and pine. Medium mouthfeel but very smooth. Flavor is dominated by the hops. Bitter finish. Remarkably easy to drink. An outstanding beer. Recently had a bottle from a trade. Just as good at the draft. bretupdegraff (182), Fishers, Indiana, USA

I guess the days of doing this are over, though. Pours a hazy amber with a huge billowy white head that shows no signs of dying. Aromas are largely medium citrusy hops and sweet malts. Initial taste is bitter hoppiness up front, pine and citrus mixed with a touch of spice, leading up to a delicate yet assertive malt balance. Finishes with a smooth body but nice bitter taste. Medium to lighter bodied finish. The hops steal the show in this brew and I personally really enjoy the more one dimensional hop feel. Assertive and non-messy. Rerate pending with fresh bottles returning to Illinois shortly. Cheers
Rerate: 12 oz bottle: lost a couple points. The wow factored was tamed. gwelch925 (31), Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA

Bells Two Hearted Ale pours a crisp golden orange with an overflowing two-finger head. A very strong aroma of citrus hops and pine. Two Hearted Ale has a fruity hop flavour suitable for any hop-head. I found the finish to be quite bitter and salty ,but the feeling of dehydration ended up just making me want more. NJJereme (272), Saint Petersburg, Florida, USA
