Commercial Description:
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Floral, hoppy and just plain good stuff. Flavor is wonderful, not to overwhelming. Very easy to drink many in one sitting. Always have a couple in the fridge.

Bottle. Yep, floral, grassy, citrusy. Smell of cherry candy. Bright flavor, great balance, not too sweet, not too bitter. I haven’t appreciated this beer enough.

Pours a light amber color with a thinly laced head. Aroma is dominated by floral hops with some honey and grass. Taste is again dominated by floral hops with some honey and citrus. Good, well balanced IPA.

On tap at sharper edge in E Sliberty. Clear golden with thick white head. a little flat. Tasty hop aroma with solid malt background. Taste comes out a little thin, though well-crafted and balanced. Clean finish.

Extremely fresh and piney/citrus nose. Golden with orange hue and light lacey white head. Flavor mirrors the aroma with a nice malt finish. One of the best standard IPAs I’ve had.

Draft: Poured a golden orange with a nice white head. The aroma was sweet hops and pine. The flavor was hops, citrus and bitters. Overall, one of the best I’ve ever had.

From a 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours with about 3 fingers of super fluffy white head which disappears within a couple minutes. Fluffy lacing remains throughout. Pours a dark golden, almost copper color with a little bit of haze from the yeast at the bottom of the bottle. There were also a few dark floaties in there. They didn’t look like yeast and I kinda doubt they were supposed to be there. Taste was of sweet and spicy hops. It’s hoppy but I thought it would be super hoppy. But that’s a good thing as I don’t like hop bombs. It’s surprisingly balanced for a higher rated IPA but the hops dominate. A very good IPA but what’s up with the floaties?
