hooligan2399 (3), Madison, Wisconsin, USA does not count Nov 27, 2001 this beer absolutly rocks. Smells like a handfull of freshly picked hops. well balanced and crisp, with a deliscious dry finish Ale Boy99 (19), Twin Lake, Michigan, USA Oct 1, 2002 My favorite IPA! But there are many more to try!! MaxPower (961), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Aug 10, 2002 Updated: Mar 29, 2003Pours cloudy copper color, citrus hoppy aroma, nice hop profile, crazy ass foamy clingy head. Juicy grapefruit-citrus flavors, medium bodied IPA with a nice rounded full mouthfeel, this may be the most drinkable IPA I have ever tasted, I just can"t stop at one. smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA Oct 18, 2003 Cask at Harvest Hop Fest at Rich O's in New Albany, IN. Nirvana! For my taste it gets no better than this one. I was actually a little disappointed with last year's. It was good, but didn't kill me. Well, IT'S BAAAAACK! Beautiful, bright yellow with a thick, thick stiff white head. Hop aroma exploding at you. Creamy mouthfeel. Flavor of grapefruit, some grassy and even some orange and spice in the hops. Just beautiful. How could it be better? Give me more! Gmku (229), Columbia, South Carolina, USA Jun 9, 2005 Absolutely delicious. The best IPA I have ever tasted. I can’t imagine an IPA getting any better than this. This is a superlative IPA. It reminds me of autumn, of fishing in a trout stream, of Nick Adams and his sister hiding from the law in Hemingway’s The Last Good Country. This is The Last Good Beer from The Last Good Country. It must be. Pours a deep-red-copper cum sunset red/brown with a hint of rainbow trout pink. Forms a tannish head, very soft. Taste is Centennial hops all over the place. Its two hearts run into your refrigerator and drag their malty bloody selves across your kitchen floor.
