Commercial Description:
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

My favorite IPA, bar none, be it from the bottle, or on tap; orange w/ a generous off-white mousse that leaves some rich lacing; aroma heavy in aroma hops w/ pine needles, grapefruit and sweet on the whole; flavor is hoppy as hell (more so than the Hopslam even, in my view) and adds orange blossom and caramel to the mix; medium-full bodied and slightly sticky, which I peg to the richness; beautiful beer and one of my all-time faves.

5L mini keg. Pours orange with a big fluffy white head that leaves clumps of sticky lacing. Aroma is very nice with a lot of floral and citrus hops. Flavor is hoppy and sweet, some caramel malt backbone. Bitterness is on the low end for the style, making this a little different for an IPA but still very enjoyable. Some bitterness at the end with lingering bitterness in the finish. Medium carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. Incredibly drinkable, great session IPA.

Poured orange/off yellow with a nice white head from 12 oz bottle. Aroma thick of flowery and resiny hops. Full palate of flower, resin, and pine with a nice caramel sweetness to balance it with a great lasting bitter finish. Measure this up to the best of IPAs, awesome beer and so glad it’s always around!

Strong floral hoppy aroma. Goldenrod appearance, minimal off white head. Light sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, long bitter finish. A well-balanced IPA. Delicious and refreshing!

Aroma is a doughy fruitness with a strong hops presence. Color is a nice golden amber with a one-finger white head. Plenty of carbonation present. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is a great fruit flavor. Almost like sour strawberries. Great taste. Bitter aftertaste. This is a very tasty beer. Highly recommended.

So smooth for an IPA, not aas potent as the hop slam. Still a sweet hoppiness which is subtle but nice in the aroma and full flavored in taste. With a golden orange color this brew is another of the fine ales that Larry Bell has released.
