Commercial Description:
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Pours light golden, like an English Pale Ale, from the 12oz. bottle: Nose is an overall (and I can’t stop whiffing!) earthy effervesence with resin, grass and grapefruit peel amplifying a delicate euphoria of floral hops. Balanced and light and normally I don’t appresh light IPAs, but I’m not feeling like I’m missing out on hops here. Starts out medium and goes into a fuller body. Oily palatte. Drinkability: BOMBER- A good quality IPA. Crisp, clean and refreshing. Rebuy: Right away. #185 on 04112009, DG.

I love the IPA! This stuff is very good. In a word balance. I love the hop bombs but sometimes I seek the balance. Very impressed.

Bottle pours a golden amber with thick tan white head. Aroma is big and hoppy lots of floral and citrus with a soft mellow malty sweetness. Taste is Hops hops hops with just a little soft malty sweetness. Very dry bitter pucker finish. Good solid daily drinker.

hazy gold/orange with a massive fluffy head. intense hop aroma... plenty of pine and citrus. flavor is less intense than expected judging by the nose, but very tasty. nice amount of bitterness against the pale malt background.

Bottled. Orange with medium white head. Aroma is fresh hoppy mostly citrusy with some pine and floral notes also. Citrus is predominately grapefruit but with light lemon. Flavor is dry biting throughout, with sweet hoppy citrus of grapefruit and variety floral notes. Grapefruit finish dry not sweet and biting. Beer starts with light to medium sweetness but slowly diminishes to no sweetness by finish. Crisp and clean mouthful. I dig!

Just not my thing. I’m not an IPA fan and I guess if this is a great one then I’m not going to bother with others!

On draft at Mother’s Pub in Gainesville, FL. Probably the easiest to find, reasonably priced, and best tasting beer I can think of. Pours orange with lots of lacing. Citrus, floral, herbs, and hoppiness. Better on draft IMO.
