Commercial Description:
This seasonal cider is aged in American and French barrels over the winter. A dryer cider with obvious oak overtones that are reminisce of a fine wine or champagne. Very popular with the true cider enthusiast.

4 ounce sample out of a firkin at California Brewer’s Festival in Sacramento, CA. The following information was gathered from the relatively unhelpful people serving it. It is 8% and aged for 8 months in barrels. The aroma has lots of vanilla, oak, and bourbon notes. Lightly musty and lots of barrel aromas. Not a ton of apple. Hazy pale pear-colored body with a still head. Odd coloration, which is difficult to describe. Oaky, lightly vanilla-bourbon flavors to start. Tart apple flavors then present themselves leaving a dry, crisp, long aftertaste. Alcohol is non-existent. This is really good. Sublime.
