Commercial Description:
Big, fat & flowing with hoppiness. Humongous nose... bursting with flavor... and intense mouth-numbing bitterness. The Bitter Woman’s evil alter ego!

in bottle. golden with medium white head. balanced aroma of sweet caramel malt with a citrus hop finish - nice! flavor is a great balance with a protective malt sweetness and a lingering bitter bite. superbly delicious. has a bit of tongue-numbing novacaine.

bottle. Pours cloudy dark amber in color, with a foamy beige head. Aroma is floral hoppiness, with some light maltiness to back it up. Flavor is strong on grapefruit, as well as piney and floral hops. The finish is quite bitter, almost chalky, not overwhelming or off-putting though.

Bottle and served in a pint glass: Poured a beautiful russet amber hue over which a sticky white creamy head can be found that left a serious lace upon the glassware. The nose displays an interesting herbal and flowery hop character along with the usual suspects found in most IPA’s (aka pine, grapefruit, pepper, clove, biscuity malts, dusty).

The taste is a hop bomb for sure with lots of resin to be found but surprisingly it is much more in control that I first would have imagined. A layer of caramelized and bready malt do a nice job in support of hop cone. The bitterness and citrus run long into the aftertaste which led to a chalky and astringent mouth feel. A well constructed India Pale Ale and hop-head worthy. GET YA SOME!

Bottle. Pours a amber with a quickly disapating head. Nose is full of hops. This woman is definately bitter! Bitterness is throughout and where I don’t typically like bitter, I actually liked this brew. A hophead’s delight, grapefruit and pine with a sprinkle of sweetened malts but surely not enough to tame this bitter woman from hell.

Pours a golden with lots of sediment. Aroma is piney hops and caramel malt. Also a bit of citrus/grapefruit. Very resinous hops. Malt is almost as intense as the hop character which balances it out.

Huge caramel malt bottom, but surprisingly well balanced by an equally huge PNW-type hop bitterness, finishing on the wonderfull pine resin, grapefruit, and herbs. Fairly well concealed alcohol, which peeks through in the finish. A great sessionable brew.

Poured a light-hazed amber, thinly headed. Peppery aroma with a big grapefruit persona and light whiffs of dishwater. Sharp, burning palate-of-hoppines with upper palate astringence that cools and dries. A honey-sweet maltiness does alot to balance peppery hopcit. Mild sour notes with a hint of alcohol.

Pours with an open disappearing head of off-white over a clear dark amber body. Fragrant floral hop aroma with underlying caramel. The flavor is bitter with an ashy dryness. Long bitter finish. I like it better each sip.
