Pours a hazy, reddish amber, with almost no head. Hints of dark fruits start the beer, with a long pine hop finish. A bit too light bodied for my preferences, but overall a very tasty IPA. sneagrams3 (1759), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 10, 2007 The Dan Journal #67. Tasted 1/9/2007. 12oz bottle. Filtered and golden amber hued. Off white head. Sweet sticky malty musty aromas. Bitter from the onset. Grapefruity. But sugary fruit. Crisp tight and bitter. Dry and lively. Smell is way off from the flavor. Sticky beer. Well done! Skyview (4064), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 5, 2007 Picked up single 12-oz bottle at Bob McFarland’s Liquors in McFarland, Wisconsin. Pours a clear caramel amber brew with a thick lumpy white head that slowly dissolves and leaves behind a very good lacing. Aroma is more alcohol, light caramel, toffee, and a touch of lime zest. Not much in pine or bitter hop scents. Taste is medium bodied with very little carbonation. Flavors of light spice, buscuits, and just of touch of bitterness. Finish is light, smooth and then a short bitterness. More of a pale ale than an IPA joergen (8627), Frederiksberg, Denmark
