Commercial Description:
Big, fat & flowing with hoppiness. Humongous nose... bursting with flavor... and intense mouth-numbing bitterness. The Bitter Woman’s evil alter ego!

Nice strong nose of citrus and pine, with a hint of alcohol hiding behind. Pours a hazy, reddish amber, with almost no head. Hints of dark fruits start the beer, with a long pine hop finish. A bit too light bodied for my preferences, but overall a very tasty IPA.

The Dan Journal #67. Tasted 1/9/2007. 12oz bottle. Filtered and golden amber hued. Off white head. Sweet sticky malty musty aromas. Bitter from the onset. Grapefruity. But sugary fruit. Crisp tight and bitter. Dry and lively. Smell is way off from the flavor. Sticky beer. Well done!

Picked up single 12-oz bottle at Bob McFarland’s Liquors in McFarland, Wisconsin. Pours a clear caramel amber brew with a thick lumpy white head that slowly dissolves and leaves behind a very good lacing. Aroma is more alcohol, light caramel, toffee, and a touch of lime zest. Not much in pine or bitter hop scents. Taste is medium bodied with very little carbonation. Flavors of light spice, buscuits, and just of touch of bitterness. Finish is light, smooth and then a short bitterness. More of a pale ale than an IPA

Bottled. Amber coloured. unclear. Off white head. Pines, sweetness, herbs and flowers in the aroma. Flavour is quite flowery and herbal. Pines and sweetness is there as well. Quite citric and dry. Medium to full bodied. Medium bitter end. Quite refreshing and drinkable.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of madsberg. Pours a slightly hazy, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Very citrusy and piney nose. Medium body with sweetish malt - perhaps a wee buttery whiff. Dry and rather bitter finish. 270607

12 oz. btl. pours a nice orange copper with impressive rocky head. Huge aroma of resiny pine and citrus. starts balanced with more citrus orange and nice malt sweetness. middle is more the same with the finish being slightly floral and somewhat dry for a big ale like this. left me wanting more.
