Bitter Woman from Hell’s main body was a light orange but a more golden around the edges. Big 2+ finger creamy billowy head. Lacing is very sticky and lasts throughout the drink. It looks pretty good except it’s FULL of big particles floating throughout. I think this takes away from the appearance. It looks like it’d be clear except for the chunks. It looks like pulp floating in there.
The smell is big on this beer. Tons of sweetened grapefruit. Must be where the pulp came from...There’s also a little dampness or mustyness coming through at the end.
The taste is like taking a bite of grapefruit with some sugar sprinkled on top which is the main flavor coming through. It’s followed by a little earthyness into a assertive bitterness that pleasently lingers.
The mouthfeel is good. Coats the mouth like it should. Not exceptional but good.
I’m going to drink a few of these tonight. It’s a good drinker that leaves you wanting more.

Small off-white head that fades rather quickly. Malty, caramel aroma with a nice dose of hops. Medium bodied and well carbonated. Flavor starts with a drying hop bitterness...piney...floral...definitely a little dry & bitter. Well-balanced. sersdf (1000), chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 28, 2007 thanks cmubeerman. looks quite a bit like an amber ale with a surprising suspension of very small yeast. head pours to half inch and lasts. nice. hops show first in aroma but quickly give way to massive malts. almost tropical fruit. very appetizing. taste is a bit soapy, and definitely poured a bit warmer than it needed to be. hops certainly dominates the flavor profile with a lot of early sweetness but not a lot of body from the malt. tastes like it could be more alcoholic. definitely seems pretty fresh, the hops are kicking my tongue’s ass. Smell is piney hops. Not a whole lot going on in the nose.
Some light lacing going on around the entire glass.
Just like the Hop Whore that I drank last night, I was expecting a whole lot more beer/hops from these two. I love what Tyranena did with the Who’s Your Daddy, but both of these being as old as they are the hop profile has diminished.
The taste is somewhat hoppy and astringent. Wish I had the chance to drink these fresh.
Still waiting for another batch of the Who’s Your Daddy! Sammy (4062), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Poured mahogoney brown with some head. Hop aroma. Its in the drink, like an ESB well malted, very drinkable smooth and satisfying. Not too American IPA bitter nor grapefruit. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 19, 2007 Pours a dark amber with a small white head. Slightly waxy buttery nose w/ light floral piney hoppiness. Kind of a waxy mouthfeel to it with hints fo piney hoppiness. I did not enjoy this beer, and I might have to trade for another, because it tasted like I bit into a hop scented candle. BeerandBlues2 (3231), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 18, 2007 Bottle courtesy of tjthresh. Pours hazy copper with a huge creamy and rocky off-white head, completely lasting, excellent lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, caramel, nutty), average hops (fruit, perfume), light yeast (dough) with notes of grape, honey and brown sugar. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation and a bitter finish. Long duration, moderate sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness. Nice roasted malt flavor with a well-balanced hoppiness that refuses to over-power the senses. bgburdman9 (823), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 16, 2007 Thanks to captaincougar for this. Poured a copper orange color with a small white head. Aroma was of some earthy and lightly citrus hops. Maybe some catnip or something coming through that kept throwing me off. Flavor was pretty bitter and hoppy and had a weird off taste but still ended up pretty good.
