fiver29 (276), Strongsville, Ohio, USA Aug 18, 2008 Bottle has a stamp that shows it was bottled last October. I bought it part of a sampler 2 weeks ago in Milwaukee. I guess that goes to show how long beers can sit around in stores. It poured a dark amber with a tan head. It was way too dark for me to be an IPA. Bottle had more malt flavor than hop flavor. What a disappointment. That’s what I get for buying something that sat for almost a year. Strykzone (938), Wood River, Illinois, USA Aug 12, 2008 An amber colored brew with a nice eggshell cratered head. Nose if full of hop. Grapefruit and floral. Some caramel. Flavor is also well hopped but there is no grapefruit. It is pine, floral, bread. This bitter woman has a sweet side, too with some caramel malt notes. A zingy feel is a result of the chosen hops. Unique and enjoyable. thegreenrooster (1480), St.louis, Missouri, USA Aug 11, 2008 Pour was a bright orange with a soapy white head. Aroma is a decent mix of citrus hops and caramel malts. Do it again on the flavor with the fruity hops and caramel malts. Decent IPA but by this time I may have burnt the palate out. doubelknv3 (466), Illinois, USA Aug 3, 2008 Citrus, grapefruit, caramel, and floral aroma. Golden amber with thin white head. Grapefruit and caramel flavour notes. Lasting bitter finish. Petrucci914 (332), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Jul 25, 2008 Pours a rich golden color with a medium off-white head. Aroma is piney hops, some citrus and malt characteristics. Taste is about the same. A bit bitter for my tastes.
