Nice hoppy aroma and good appearance with decent lacing of foam. But.......it was like biting into a lemon. All bitterness with lack of any complex flavors. zeke626 (307), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 22, 2008 Bottle, pours an clear, orange-amber body with off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, pine, and some sweet malts and citrus. Slightly watery in the mouthfeel, but smooth and slightly creamy. Flavor is mainly green hops with pine, lemon, and caramel notes. Finishes with a bitter hop bite. Not really as bitter as a typical IPA. cblado (150), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 22, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear orange-amber color with a thick, creamy head. Nice lacing, great to look at. Aroma is a very bitter hops, pine, and a little caramel. Flavor is similar, though dominated by hops and caramel flavors. Not unpleasant, but it lacks some of the pine, floral, and citrus notes of other IPA’s. Palate feels a little thin as well. Overall, though, this is a decent IPA. GJF (520), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 25, 2008 A bit inconsistent bottle to bottle. Nice and bitter front and back with some sweetness. Quite a nice IPA in my book. Head lasts. Nose is floral and fresh. nice. CaryTheDude (1114), Longmont, Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 17, 2008 Floral and citrus notes on the nose, and a good bitter taste, but not quite as crisp as hoped. But not bad by any means. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 13, 2008 One of my favorite brews, this pours an attractive golden orange body. Large sticky white head that arises from brew which is slightly bitter Firm on the hops with a balanced malty mouthfeel. Fruity, floral and enticing. Holds together well with plenty of citrus fruit all the way through. This is my favorite camping beer :) ccoburn (22), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 12, 2008 Pours dark amber with little head bud decent lacing. Aroma of pine, citrus and sweet malt. Decent body and a lot of bitterness. They seemed to go pretty heavy on the bittering hops more flavor. Some pine in the flavor with a grapefruit skin finish. The amber malt is there too. Not bad, but not my favorite either.
