May 11, 2008 Pours an orange/copper, light head. Aroma is citrus, flowers, hops, pine. Taste is like the aroma, lots of citrus, pine, and a caramel malt backing. Mouthfeel is a bit thin for the style, however it is a good session ipa.

May 8, 2008 12 oz bottle purchased at Zipps in Minneapolis. Pour is clear copper with a one inch off white head. Nice lacing. Carbonation is visible. Aroma of piney hop resin, and some sweet caramel. Taste is more of the resinous pine, very bitter from start to finish. The sweetness appears mostly in the after taste. Nicely done, very drinkable IPA.

May 7, 2008 standard IPA color (orange/copper), almond head, some lacing. very floral and aromatic nose, some pine. flavor has lemony hints, decent bitterness, fairly thin mouthfeel though.

May 4, 2008 12 oz. bottle (bottled 11Feb08) via trade with tytoanderso - Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a 1/2 finger thick off white head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is very light floral and pine hops. I mean light! Flavor is also light. Flavor is mostly hops with some light malt sweetness. Light to medium body. Slight astringent aftertaste. I was a little disappointed with this beer. I guess I was expecting a little more since almost all the other Tyranena beers I’ve had were damn good. Still, overall it’s a very drinkable beer. Clearish orange amber with a decent white head. Sweet hops smell with a sweet taste. Hops aren’t nearly as present as I wanted them to be here. Too watery and not enough flavor. Average carbonation and average almost thin palate.

May 1, 2008 Bottle pours a crystal clear orange with a 1 inch off white head that seems to cling well - long lasting spot lace. The aroma is piney hops and caramel. The flavor has some nice resinous hops hovering over some (but not enough) sweet malt. The palate is medium and cleansing and finishes a bit dry. Overall, not a bad session beer. It is a giant leap from here to Hop Whore.

Apr 22, 2008 On tap. Pours a clear orange with a slightly tanned head. Quite sweet and fruity. Lots of sugary caramel. Sweet and slightly flowery citric hopsprofile. Medium bodied, slightly creamy. Sweet finish with a bit of floral hops. Disappointing.

Apr 14, 2008 Hazy orange with a bit of head. A ibt of citrus fruit hoppiness and a touch of malty sweetness. Hops come forward at the end to give a bit of an added mouth feel. typical IPA.
