| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 18, 2007 Bottle, clear copper with a white head. Medium intensity aroma of grapefruit then some pine. Light caramel, then some notes of grapefruit, pine. Ample bitterness. Not much hop flavor, feels like just bittering hops were added. Nice, medium body with moderate carbonation. Solid, but some more aroma/flavor hops would make it better. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 7, 2007 Clear honey amber colored body. Hugely sweet nose that is basically spot-on for mandarin oranges. Has some light honey sweetness as well, with a light-to-moderate bitterness level. It turns from that mandarin orange juiciness up front into more of an oily herb and grass flavor in the finish. Overall it’s not a complicated recipe, I think, but it works. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 4, 2007 12oz bottle, courtesy of a trade from a while ago. Thanks! Pours a clear, bright orange color; white head with patchy lacing. Strong, citrus and grapefruit hoppiness in the aroma; bitter and mildly astringent with little else. Very sticky, slightly resiny and citrus and grapefruit hops in a medium mouthfeel; astringent and not resiny or chewy enough to compensate for a rough hop character. Dusty and sticky sugar in the finish.
