Bottle at tom’s house courtesy of Jamie. Cloudy orange with distinct, earthy, wet cardboard hops. Pretty good, but that doesnt really cut it for ipa’s nowadays. I like them grrrrrrrreat! Anyway, thanks for bringing this Jamie!

Bottle brought to the Carolina tasting thanks to Jamie. Pours out a dark orange color with a thick head on it. Smell is pine, grass, hops, some grapefruit. Taste is slightly bitter, refreshing, enjoyable, and smooth. Not too thick, with a nice balance going on. Good stuff, as is most beer from this brewery. Thanks for the sample Jamie.

Orangey brown color with a thick tan head. Big floral aroma clues me in that this will be a straight forward hop bomb. Sure enough, we have a solid piney IPA without much else going on. Enjoyable and refreshing without being mind blowing.

Bottle. Intense grapefruit, pine, sweet hops on the nose. Nice red color with decent creamy white head retention. Fairly hoppy on the palate with nice amount of malt to back it up. Finishes dry and hoppy. Slightly better than average IPA.

Pretty tasty beer. This is several months old, but it doesn’t seem to have missed a beat. It has a beautiful reddish honey color with an off white head. Drinking the beer in an english pint, a glass I am rather fond of. Aroma is honey, citrus, pine. Taste is sweet and bitter. The malt is bready and caramelly the hops are pungent, piney, & floral. The bitterness level is there. This is a very good beer, I would like to have another, fresher example, this beer is great, but I bet is little better fresh.

Orange amber with a nice white head that slowly settles down. Good Lacing. Big pine and grapefruit nose. Fairly substantial malt flavor offering some balance before the long bitter finish. Excellent. My first beer from Tyranena, and I am impressed.

Pours a deep golden color (rather light in color for an IPA but that’s not a big issue) with a couple inches of white head. A little bit hazy, and LOTS of floaties - protein clumps or something - its not bottle-conditioned. The head dies back quickly, leaves a little bit of lacing. Good citrus hops in the aroma. Taste is strong on the hops. Bitter grapefruit hops taste. Solid malt for balance, but still all about the hops. Medium to full bodied, lots of citrus hops in the aftertaste, some spiciness in there too. Softly carbonated with a bit of a dry yet very pleasant finish.

I have had this before but never actually reviewed it. Pours a orange/flax with a slight head and healthy lacing. Smell is light citrus hop, but dry, very dry. The taste is loose and light, but bitter as hell, which it promises. It has a Lighter body that allows it to be a sessionable beer. I do recommend!
