| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 28, 2006 12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear copper with a light white head. The hop character seems English to me. Lots of herbal notes in the nose. Some buiscut and backed goods as well. Tongue scrubbingly bitter. Dry finish. greenhorn1 (462), Mission Viejo, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 22, 2006 12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly dark tan color, with medium to high carbonation. Nice head with tons-o-lacing. Pleasantly mild aroma of citrus and carmel malts. Taste is very similiar, but not much to brag about. Some earth tones, grapefruit, and mild carmel sweetness. In my opinion, it is more of a Pale Ale than an IPA. I like my IPA’s to have a stronger bitter punch in the end. Overall, I would purchase again, I am just not sure it is true to style. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 16, 2006 Color is golden orange, body clear as glass. Immediately as I crack the cap its powerful grapefruit aroma graces the air (reminiscent of Titan IPA). Sweet mango starts to take center stage about halfway down. Flavor is very bitter with a sour finish. Lime, citrus, toasted malt and sourdough. Wet barky mouthfeel. It’s nothing unpleasant really, but I’ve been sipping at it for half and hour because I’m having trouble enjoying it. Maybe the hop varieties aren’t the best, but there’s a touch of skunk flavor as well. undsioux7 (561), Cologne, Minnesota, USA

It was definetly bitter but it was my style of bitter. I do want to try this again. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA
