Impressive malt and hop aroma, with some floral notes dominating. Flat mouthfeel, with some pervasive bitterness in the finish. I had hoped for more in this beer. eaglefan538 (2399), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

Poured an amber color, nice big white-ish colored head that yielded good lacing. The aroma was full bitter and somewhat floral hops. The flavor was strong floral bitter hops, some citrus and pine elements too, the malt base light malts, light fruits. Good malt presence, good hop dominance. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 8, 2009 Bottle - Amber pour, slightly hazy with a big bubbly head. Has a lovely citrus hops and caramel malt smell. Taste is more bitter hop than citrus, with that big caramel flavor and a hint of bourbon. It feels good in the mouth, with a medium-bodied creaminess and just enough carb. Pretty solid offering and one I could drink just about any time.
