I’d write more about it, but it’s all been said. Lovely color, good hoppiness, good palate. Tasty and appealing. MAP (1089), Lakewood, Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 21, 2005 Finally, the last brew from my Secret Santa that didn’t find its way into my cellar. Can’t thank the ol’ SS enough for his generousity and efficiency. Wonderful sweet floral and cirtus aroma with a small hint of soap. The beer pours a nice slightly hazy amber with a cream head. Flavor is a real sound citrus bittersweetness, with a good malty backbone. Palate is a nice oily and viscous feel that ends with a good sharpness. Fine brew. hopdog (5630), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 1, 2005 Pours amber with decent white head. Citrus/floral hop aroma is very musty. Maybe an older bottle. Initial flavor is very sweet malt that fades to mostly citrus hops in the finish. Decent overall. jcr (1192), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 20, 2005 A bitter woman leaves a bitter taste. So does this beer as well it should. It starts with a floral and grapefruit aroma after an amber pour. Its flavor is slightly sweet, but most grapefruity. And then there’s the bitterness that yields slightly at the end. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 18, 2005 Bottle: Courtesy of Duane via trade. Moderate citrus hop aroma with a sweet balance. Pours a transparent amber with a white head that lasts a minute or so. Sweet up front with a grapefruit hop finish and light acidity. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 11, 2005 Thanks to Duane. Pored hazy amber, with a tight creamy head. Good lacing BTB. The name and label were great as Sledge stated. The aroma was lemon and grass, like an IPA should be. Real tart and bitter taste. But not unpleasant. The after taste was bitter as well. There is a lot of grapefruit in the taste. Needs a bit more balance.
