Textbook IPA pour, strawberry blonde with an ivory head. This brew has a wonderful floral aroma that waifs up and out of the tulip, hinting of wildflowers and grapefruit. The aroma really lays the foundation for the beautifully hopped body ahead. Aptly named Bitter Woman, the body is profusely bitter, making me pucker up and prepare for more after the first sip. The insane amount of bittering hops eventually move aside, exposing the light, malty backbone and a smooth floral finish. Great IPA - I hope I can eventually find the Bitter Woman From Hell IIPA!

Gold orange amber color. Medium sized foamy white head. Muted citrusy hop aroma. Bitter and creamy, with some residual astringency in the finish. Mouthfeel is startlingly creamy.

12 oz. bottle. orange-copper in color with a foamy off white head. definitely has that IPA aroma of grapefruit-pine. flavors are more of the strong grapefruit-pine with some ( not much, but some ) caramel malt. a well done IPA!

Aroma of grapefruit with a pine twist. Copper orange in color with a thin and fading white head. Nice bitter grapefruit flavor with a grassy finish. Creamy and dry. Very yummy. I liked the bitterness.

I have to start by saying I don’t like IPA’s to begin with. This beer is not one I seek out. For the style, though it is way over the top. If you like to pucker from bitterness, take a swallow of this and enjoy!

Pours out clear amber with a half-inch of foamy white head atop the body. As the head collapses down good lacing was left to decorate the glass. Big hoppy nose is full of strong citric notes along with floral and piney scents. Not much malt to smell here. The taste starts off with a big grapefruit bitter bite that is plenty kicking. A brief moment of malt sweetness comes through to soothe the bitterness before it picks up again. Aftertaste has a lingering light hoppy bitterness. Mouthfeel is prickly with hop bitterness that coats the tongue and about a medium body to it. Very drinkable stuff here it is quite hoppy while not going overboard. Something I would make a regular if it were available around here but alas its not. Thanks to BuckeyeNation for the chance to try this.

This ale pours a lovely copper color with a nice fluffy head. Aroma is very grapefruit with some pineapple. Lots of white floaties in the brew. Sweet malt with caramel apples encircle the very bitter, citric hops. Hop zing litters. Nice medium body - a godd quaffer for sure. Thanks to Mr Facto!

Aroma is astringent grapefruit, a little chemically, and maybe like a certain smokeable plant... Taste is of floral hops, slight grapefruit, and maybe a bit of lemon and candy sour apple. Flavor is not increibly remarkable or complex, but the palate is very nice. Pours smooth and turns a bit frothy and creamy in your mouth. The taste rests comfortably on the back of your tongue long after you’ve finished the brew.
