| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 19, 2008 12oz bottled picked up on a road trip in Wisconsin. Orange brown color, a little hazy. Piny seawater hop aroma, pretty nice. Heavily hopped with a nice toasty malt balance. The freshness and relatively low alcohol helps the big hop profile shine. Reminiscent of English IPAs to me, but more hopped. Good, quality product. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 1, 2008 12 oz. bottle on 11/07/2008, courtesy Buffalohead. Clear orange, off white head of medium size and duration, sticky lace. Aroma is spicy over a base of toffee, some earthiness, and perhaps a faint floral character. Suggestive of English style hops, maybe some noble hops as well. Medium body and carbonation, smooth, fairly clean. The maltiness dominates the flavor with light caramel, a soft spicy bitterness provides some balance and a gently dry finish. This isn’t a big American style IPA, but is drinkable and satisfying. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Courtesy of sebletitje. Pours deep gold edges and clear copper core along with an off white head. The mild aroma starts with some vague muted malts and doesn’t really go anywhere else that I can tell. The taste is mildly more hoppy than the non hoppy nose with some grapefruit, orange peel and pine. There’s also mild maltiness in the background. On the whole it’s just too timid in both hops and malts to be an IPA. Maybe this is a bitter. lithy (1800), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Hazy orange brown with a thin white head. Aroma is apples, caramel, slight vinegar. Taste is more sweet red apples. Slight bitterness but not much, must be old, this IPA is all malt, no hops. Good candidate for a re-rate.
